On January 26, the Company successfully held the Award Ceremony for the Safety Competition on Risk Reduction and Potential Hazards Elimination during 2024 TA to commend groups and individuals who performed outstandingly during the TA and made outstanding contributions to production safety. The Company’s Acting President Lin Xu, and Vice Presidents Suchart Phowatthanasathian and Li Ji attended the award ceremony.

  With the core purpose of “strengthening HSE management and enhancing safety and environmental awareness”, the competition was designed to stimulate the enthusiasm of all employees to participate in identifying risks and potential hazards and preventing incidents, promote the implementation of the Company’s production safety responsibility system, and achieve a fundamental shift from “post-event disposal” to “pre-event prevention”. The competition was launched in November 2024 and lasted for two months. All employees responded actively and got involved, fostering a strong safety culture atmosphere.

  According to the appraisal scheme for the competition and the scoring results, PO BT won the first prize for outstanding team with a total score of 89.8 points, followed by EOEG BT and Aromatics BT which won the second and third prizes respectively. In terms of individual awards, 10 employees were awarded the title of Excellent Organizer for actively driving HSE measures and hazards rectification; 10 employees were awarded the title of Excellent Individual for their high-quality implementation of the rectification of risks and potential hazards and active reporting of incidents; in addition, 50 employees were awarded the title of HSE Safety Model for their fine performance in potential hazards identification, risk control, etc.

  At the award ceremony, Suchart Phowatthanasathian spoke highly of the positive significance of this competition. He pointed out that the competition effectively improved employees’ abilities to identify risks and potential hazards, and promoted their safety and environmental awareness and the in-depth development of the safety culture. He also called on all employees to learn from the prize winners and jointly drive the production safety of the Company to a new level.
