On the morning of January 26, the Company held a model workers appreciation meeting on the eve of 2025. Company leaders Lin Xu and Yang Fei attended the meeting and gathered with representatives of model workers who have been awarded the title of model worker at municipal-level and above and the “May 1st” Labor Medal to celebrate the New Year and talk about the future plans.

  Lin Xu and Yang Fei fully commended the achievements that model workers on all fronts of the Company have scored in the past year. The model workers were expected to continue to carry forward the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship, give play to their demonstrative role, take the lead in making real efforts to build a solid foundation for safety and environmental protection, and take practical measures on quality & profitability improvement. The leaders also wished all the model workers good health and happy families, as well as hoped that all their wishes come true.

  Lin Xu pointed out that in the past year, model workers on all fronts of the Company, together with cadres and employees, have withstood severe tests and market shocks, moved forward under pressure, overcome difficulties, taken on their responsibilities, and never given up. They made positive contributions to the high-quality completion of the TA/revamp, achieving zero-energy delivery for maintenance, smooth start-up with zero failures, optimized production operations, and significantly reduced flare emissions during shutdown and start-up. This is the result of the unity and efforts of the vast number of employees represented by model workers, and the spirit refined during the TA/revamp is worth promoting.

  Lin Xu emphasized that model workers at all levels of the Company insisted on promoting culture, mentoring and educating people, working hard and consolidating the foundation, and using platforms such as model workers' innovation studios to do a lot of work in employee and contractor training, innovation and benefit creation, etc., and achieved good results in all aspects of work, showing the benchmarking effect of model worker. This year, the main focus of the Company's production and operation is keeping stable operation, consolidating the foundation, turning losses into profits and increasing benefits. Model workers at all levels of the Company were expected to always set a good example, vigorously inherit the Spirit of Petroleum, promote petrochemical traditions, take the lead in operation optimization, and give full play to the energy efficiency advantages of Aromatics and other revamp projects; take the lead in firmly establishing the idea of practicing austerity, implement basic work such as thermal insulation and anti-corrosion, as well as equipment operation, and implement the concept that stable operation is the greatest savings; take the lead in innovation and benefit creation, and continue to explore projects with small investment and high benefits.

  Yang Fei pointed out that this year is the opening year when the production units have entered a new operation cycle, and all tasks should focus on production safety, operation optimization and quality & profitability improvement. It is hoped that model workers at all levels of the Company will continue to play a demonstrative and leading role, implement the arrangements and requirements as set out in the work conference of the Company, and actively take on their responsibilities to complete the annual goals and tasks for 2025. Model workers at all levels of the Company should continue to play their role of “mentoring”. They should not only impart technical skills, but also pass on the spirit of work style construction. Specifically, they should vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, work, and craftsmanship, with the aim to help young people inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the petroleum and petrochemical industry, allow young people to develop based on their posts, and embody their value and show their style in making achievements in their careers.

  Yang Fei required that the Company’s Labor Union and relevant departments should serve as close friends and families of model workers, provide better services to them, and create a fine atmosphere of caring for, respecting and striving to become model workers.

  At the meeting, national model worker Zhang Zhaohong, Fujian model workers Huang Xiaobin and Wu Liangjiang made key speeches respectively, reporting in detail on the construction, development and role playing of the Model Worker Innovation Studio, and making work prospects in conjunction with the key tasks for 2025.

  Model workers at all levels of the Company who attended the meeting spoke freely about production safety, team building, talent training and other aspects based on their own positions, and put forward opinions and suggestions, creating a lively atmosphere.
