On December 5, Hussain A. Qahtani, Saudi Aramco Downstream Senior Vice President of Fuels, and his delegation visited FREP.

Zhang Xiguo, BOD Chairman and Party Committee Secretary of the Company, met with Hussain A. Qahtani and his delegation. OOP members Lin Xu, Suchart Phowatthanasathian, Li Ji and Haytham Zamzami attended the meeting.

Zhang Xiguo extended a warm welcome to Hussain A. Qahtani and his delegation to FREP. He showed appreciation to Hussain A. Qahtani for his attention to FREP's production safety, margin improvement, personnel development and other aspects, and for his good suggestions on improving production and operation performance. He hoped that with the strong support and sincere help of all shareholders, FREP would continue to stride towards its vision and goal of "becoming a world-class petrochemical Company with sustainable competitiveness."

On behalf of the Company's OOP, Lin Xu reported to Hussain A. Qahtani and his delegation on the Company's production safety, operation, TA and development planning.

Hussain A. Qahtani said that he was very happy to visit the site of FREP as it was about to usher in the victory of its TA in 2024, and met with the Company's Chairman and OOP. He mentioned that Fujian is an important place for Saudi Aramco's investment in China. During his tenure as a BOD director of FREP, he was unable to pay a visit due to the epidemic. He arrived at FREP this time and felt that the Company's safety performance has improved significantly with unremitting efforts of the management. Always prioritize safety for enterprise production and operation, to ensure that every employee returns home safely. Personnel represent an important element in driving development of an enterprise. We must pay close attention to the development of employees, as they can help the enterprise improve significantly.

Hussain A. Qahtani commented that TA/Revamp of FREP in 2024 was an arduous task. During the peak time, a total of more than 15,000 participants were present on site at the same time. With the joint efforts of the management, all employees and contractors, attached great importance to safety, continuously improved efficiency, and strictly controlled quality. At present, FREP has entered the stage of project closure and preparation for the units start-up, to lay a sound foundation for the smooth operation of the units in the next operation cycle and cope with severe market challenges.

Hussain A. Qahtani said that shareholders pay great attention to the future development planning of FREP, and support FREP in its efforts to operate, plan and develop well to repay all shareholders with more outstanding business performance, and keep continuing and consolidating the sound cooperative relationship among all shareholders.
