On August 7, a media interview group called "Let's Go to See the Sea Together - Port Cities Tour along the Maritime Silk Road" composed of reporters from 14 central and local mainstream media including China National Radio, Xinhua News Agency, China News Service, China Daily, and Fujian Daily visited FREP to interview the Company on its port terminals, shipping construction and other aspects, focusing on its green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

The Company leader Lin Xu received the media reporters and accompanied them on the interview tour. The media reporters visited the Company's exhibition hall and Zhang Zhaohong National Demonstrative Model Worker and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio. The high towers, densely arranged pipelines and orderly working site left a deep and beautiful impression on the reporters.

Chen Junhui, themanager of the Terminal Business Team who accompanied the media interview group, told reporters: "Our terminal has grown and developed together with the Company, witnessing the development process from the initial 4 berths with only about 10 petrochemical products entering and leaving the port, to the current 9 berths with about 30 petrochemical products entering and leaving the port. We also have a 300,000-ton dedicated crude oil terminal. In recent years, under the guidance and support of port organizations, we have actively practiced the new development philosophy in port construction and development, and explored pipeline interconnection with surrounding port enterprises. For example, the naphtha interconnection pipeline put into use in June this year is a vivid practice of our win-win cooperation with surrounding port enterprises. ”

In the Company's exhibition hall, media reporters learned in detail about its production process, safety and environmental protection, green, low-carbon and high-quality development, and paid close attention to its enduring commitment to scientific and technological innovation, value-based leading, and efforts to vigorouslypromote green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

At Zhang Zhaohong National Demonstration Model Worker and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio, national model worker Zhang Zhaohong introduced that the studio carried out innovations and benefits creation activities around the Company's key areas such as production safety, quality and profitability improvement, drilling of vocational skills, and skills competitions. It has become a comprehensive training base integrating employee training, competitions, skills appraisal, innovation and benefits creation, and technical exchanges. The studio gives play to its role as "one platform and three fronts" and carries out innovative and benefits creation activities around the Company's key areas such as production safety, quality and profitability improvement, and operation optimization, and has achieved good results. It has explored, developed and worked out more than 200 achievements in innovation and benefits creation, of which 62 have won provincial and ministerial awards, and it also has 15 national patent authorizations.

It is reported that the media interview group named "Let's Go to See the Sea Together - Port Cities Tour along the Maritime Silk Road" will visit coastal port cities such as Xiamen, Quanzhou, Putian, Pingtan and Ningde around six sub-themes, including "Shipping on theSilk Road - New Tides in Ports along the Ancient Maritime Silk Road" and "Seeing Meizhou Bay from the Sea - New Momentum from the Tides".
