In 2023, China Energy Chemical Geology Union continued to carry out the "Craftsman of the Country around Us" recommendation learning and publicity campaign (the ninth session) in energy, chemical and geology industries in China.

Recently, a list of 100 figures honored the "Craftsmen of the Country around Us" was released for learning from and publicize, among which Zhang Zhaohong, an instrument & control coordinator of the Company, was on the List.

Zhang Zhaohong, currently the coordinator and special-class technician of FREP, a joint venture of FPCL, has been engaged in instrument maintenance and management in petrochemical industry for 32 years. He has been diligent in studying and solving technical problems. The electronic navigation map of instrument equipment he developed realized the automated location search of instrument and won the first prize of science and technology in petroleum and chemical automation industry. The "portable multi-function wrench" designed by him won the national utility model patent. He took the lead in solving equipment management difficulties including indication fluctuations in 18 wedge type flow meters, water intrusion into underground well temperature measuring instruments, and oil leak from large machine set temperature measuring instruments. He upheld his craftsmanship and led innovations and profits creation. The "Zhang Zhaohong Model Worker Innovation Studio" led by him has secured 10 patents and 218 innovation and profits creation achievements, 50 of which have won provincial or ministerial innovation awards. From an ordinary technician, he gradually grew into a special-class technician, and won the honorable titles such as the Fujian Craftsmen in the first batch, and the national model worker.
