It was still hot although the dog days of the summer came to an over. The Company's employees worked hard on site in the hot weather, braved the scorching sun and heat, stuck to their posts to ensure stable operation and production, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and strong commitment of petrochemical people.

On August 23, the Company management Zhang Xiguo, Lin Xu, Yang Fei, Li Ji, and Suchart Phowatthanasathian went to the production frontline in two groups to visit the employees working hard in the hot days and express respect and greetings to them.

Secretary of the Company Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, Zhang Xiguo, Vice President Lin Xu and Vice President Suchart Phowatthanasathian, visited the office area of Mechanical Department, Product Quality Center, CCR of the old plant, Fire Brigade, EOEG production area, and the employee cafeteria to visit cadres and employees on frontline. They had friendly conversations with the employees and thanked their hardwork and dedication in the hot days.

In front of the operation console of Aromatics Complex, Zhang Xiguo inquired about the current production situation, asked the employees about their production and living conditions, logistics support, and encouraged them to set confidence, unite as one, firmly grasp current “window period” of good profit of aromatics products, and spare no efforts to maintain stable and high rate production, so as to contribute to the Company's continuous improvement of quality and profitability.

In CCR of the old plant, Zhang Xiguo highly praised the frontline employees for their hard work in the extreme weather and their down-to-earth work style. He encouraged them to carry out rounds inspection up to high standard, continuously carry out hazard elimination and equipment maintenance, ensure safe and stable operation of the units at current stage till 2024 TA.

Yang Fei, deputy secretary of the Company Party Committee and Chairman of the Company Labor Union, together with Vice President Li Ji, visited the frontline employees in the new CCR, electrical operation monitoring center, PO field operator room, Engineer Building, Terminal CCR, and Ruisheng PO product loading site. They asked about the current situation of production and operation, and thanked the hard work of the employees.

The Company management required the primary level organizations to well manage safe and stable operation, and make efforts for people work arrangement, heatstroke prevention and cooling measures, work environment improvement and safeguards for health of workers and safety of work in hot weather. Relevant functional departments were expected to provide efficient logistical support, and create favorable conditions for safe, stable, and optimal production of the units.

The Company management asked in detail at each stop about production, personnel, and work safety measures, cared about the employees' living conditions and work schedule, and required all departments and business teams to attach great importance to work safety and ensure smooth and safe advancement of various work.

The visit and warm conversations on the frontline conveyed the care of the management. Facing severe business situation and arduous tasks, the Company carried out this activity to further pool the strength.
