The Aromatics Complex Low-temperature Heat Energy-saving Revamp Project and the Aromatics Complex Waste Heat Recovery System Energy-saving Revamp Project passed Quanzhou energy-saving circular economy verification, and received a special energy-saving award from Quanzhou Municipal Government.

The Aromatics Complex Low-temperature Heat Energy-saving Revamp Project included dismantling and adding some equipment, as well as adaption revamp of the existing pipelines and frameworks. After the Project put into operation, it produced 1.0MPa steam. To calculate based on 8,400 hours operation per year, the annual energy saving would be about 56KT standard coal.

The Aromatics Complex Waste Heat Recovery System Energy-saving Revamp Project was about energy-saving revamp of the waste heat recovery system F401A/B of Aromatics Complex. By using corrosion-resistant and oil/ gas co-fire air pre-heaters with high availability rate, the flue gas temperature drop to below 100℃, with annual energy saving of nearly 5,200 tons standard coal.

In recent years, the Company's energy management has achieved good results, and energy-saving projects have been implemented one after another. The Energy Group has continuously carried out applications for government energy-saving special rewards for the projects in terms of energy-saving, electricity use, technical revamp, energy-saving equipment tax refunds and outdated motor elimination.
