The Company Successfully Organized the Digital Instrument Control Post Skills Competition of Petrochemical Industry of Fujian Province

From March 13 to 15, the 3-day "Craftsmanship Cup" Petrochemical Industry Digital Instrument Control Post Skills Competition of Fujian Province was successfully held in the Company, and 13 representative teams in Fujian Province participated in the Competition.

This competition was organized by the Federation of Labor Unions of Fujian Province, jointly operated by Fujian Provincial Machinery, Chemical, Mining and Metallurgy Labor Union Working Committee, Quanzhou Municipal Federation of Labor Unions and FREP, and Quangang District Federation of Labor Unions provided support.

The competition was based on improving the skills, quality and comprehensive ability of post personnel of the petrochemical industry of Fujian. Aiming to "promote training through competition, promote learning through training and promote application through learning", build a platform for mutual exchange and learning, improve technical skills of petrochemical personnel, and demonstrate the high morale of the employees of petrochemical industry.

At the opening ceremony of the Competition on March 13, Liu Bingxin, the Grade II inspector of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Labor Unions, Yang Fei, deputy secretary of Party Committee and chairman of Labor Union of the Company, and Zhang Jingli, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the Federation of Labor Unions of Quangang District, delivered speeches. Cai Xiudong, Director of the Working Committee of Fujian Provincial Machinery, Chemical, Mining and Metallurgy Labor Union, chaired the opening ceremony.

Jiang Yongqing, a member and Vice Chairman of the Leading Party Members' Group of Quanzhou Federation of Labor Unions, Jiang Chunming, a Grade 3 researcher of Fujian Provincial Machinery, Chemical Industry, Mining and Metallurgy Labor Union Working Committee, Chen Huifeng, secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of the Leading Party Members' Group and Executive Vice Chairman of Quangang District Federation of Labor Unions, Zheng Yaoming, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union and Director of the Party& Union Department of FREP, as well as leads of the representative teams, participants of the Competition, experts and judges attended the opening ceremony.

This digital instrument control post skills competition included four assessment categories: theoretical knowledge, field instrument maintenance, control system operation and hazard identification. The contestants should be proficient in the principles/ operations of field instruments and control systems of petrochemical industry.

Theoretical exam. The contestants randomly selected the numbers and took the theoretical exam of each number. The theoretical examination had a wide range and large quantity of contents. On the basis of assessing the knowledge in the field of instruments, contents such as the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress and the basic knowledge of the "Four Histories" were added. The expert group also incorporated some contents of the Work Safety Law and cutting-edge digital instrument control technologies into the examination scope.

The practical competition was held at the Training Base of Zhang Zhaohong Model Worker Innovation Studio. In the preparation stage, to simulate the actual production, the Company set six practical competition platforms to achieve joint commissioning of field instruments, control systems and alarm systems highlighting the "digital" characteristics of instrument control, so as to test the real comprehensive skills of the contestants.

After three-day fierce competition, the "Craftsmanship Cup" digital instrument control post skills competition of Fujian Province came to a successful conclusion. After an exciting competition, two people won the first prize, five people won the second prize, and six people won the third prize. One team won the first prize of the group, two teams won the second prize of the group, four teams won the third prize of the group, and six companies won the excellent organization award.

As the operator of this competition, the company made great efforts in planning, organization and implementation to smoothly advance the competition and selected outstanding contestants through internal selection at the same time. They excised diligently before the competition, calmly competed and achieved good results. Among them, Chen Chao won the first place in the competition and the Company won the first prize in the group.

This competition set a platform for skill learning and exchange for skilled talents in the Fujian petrochemical industry, demonstrated the outstanding skills and hard working spirit of workers of Fujian petrochemical industry and vividly practiced the spirit of Model Worker, craftsmanship and hard working.
