Quanzhou Government Leaders Visited the High-level Talents of the Company
Before the Spring Festival of the Year of Tiger, on January 19, Cai Tianshou, vice mayor of Quanzhou Government, and his delegation visited the company on behalf of the CPC Quanzhou Municipal Committee and Quanzhou Government, and expressed greetings to Chen Yingfeng, a Quanzhou municipal high-level talent and the manager of the Construction and Maintenance Quality in Mechanical Department. Vice President Lin Xu met with Cai Tianshou and his delegation. Xie Ziqian, deputy director of Quangang Government accompanied the visit.
In the plant meeting room, Cai Tianshou had a cordial talk with Chen Yingfeng and gave him a prize to expressed greetings of the Spring Festival. Cai Tianshou inquired about Chen Yingfeng's work and life, thanked him for his contributions to the development of Quanzhou City, and hoped that he would continuously work hard in the new year to overcome difficulties, give better play to the leading role of high-level talent, devote himself to the company development, and provide strong intellectual support for local economic development. He commented that Quanzhou municipal government would further improve the talents policies and measures, fully stimulate the vitality and creativity of the talents, and create a good environment for innovation and creation.
During the communication with Lin Xu, Cai Tianshou fully affirmed the contributions of FREP to the economic development of Quanzhou. He hoped that the company would give full play to the high-level talents, continuously improve the company’s competitiveness and business performance.
Lin Xu introduced the company’s development history and production/ operation situation, and thanked the CPC Quanzhou Municipal Committee and Quanzhou Government for their support and help over the years. He commented that the company would adhere to the concept of innovative development, strive to further increase capacity and competitiveness, and make greater contributions to the economy of Quanzhou.
The two sides also discussed how petrochemical enterprises could realize high-quality develop in the environment of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
Leaders of relevant departments of Quangang District, the responsible people and relevant personnel of Party &Union Department, Mechanical Department and HR &Admin Department of the company, and representatives of Quanzhou municipal high-level talents also accompanied the visit.
Over the years, the company had earnestly implemented the strategy of "strengthen the enterprise through talent cultivation" and continuously promoted the construction of the talents. By hiring talents, training employees, strengthening on-the-job training and holding labor competitions, the company encouraged employees to develop, innovate and create profit on their posts. In total 81 employees were listed as high-level talents by Quanzhou City. Especially in recent years, the company gave full play to the "Model Worker Innovation Studios" as a platform for creating a good atmosphere and positive conditions for outstanding talents. In the past five years, the company's employees obtained 10 patents and 433 achievements in innovation and profitability initiatives, of which 89 achievements won provincial and ministerial innovation awards.
