The Company Management Visited the Employees before the Spring Festival
On the morning of January 28, right before the Spring Festival, the company management Liu Xiangdong, Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Lin Xu, Zhao Tianxing, Neo Ee Ee and Yang Fei visited the front line employees in two groups, to express Spring Festival greetings to all working on posts during the festival.
Liu Xiangdong, Lin Xu and Neo Ee Ee visited the employees of Mechanical Department, Fuels-1 BT, Olefins BT, PO BT, Utilities BT, SSI, DCS Group, Offsites BT and Terminal BT, had a cordial talk with them and distributed holiday gifts. At each of their stop, the company management waved to and shook hands with the employees, who stood up and applauded to welcome.
Liu Xiangdong and the group visited the new office of Mechanical Department, extended greetings to the employees and thanked their hard work in projects’ construction and equipment reliability management, and fully affirmed the success turnaround/ revamp of 2021.
In front of the operation console of Fuels-1 BT, Liu Xiangdong and the group had a cordial talk with the Business Team Manager and the operators to understand the production and operation, and expressed expectations on good operation and optimization, to ensure safe and stable production during the festival period.
At the operation console of PO BT, the Business Team Manager happily reported the innovative results of the thin FFS packaging film. Liu Xiangdong fully affirmed the accomplishment about the processing capacity of 0.10mm film, and hoped the BT to make more efforts on reform and innovation, improve the use rate of shared pallets and further strengthen the research and development of new polyolefin grades.
At the operation console of Olefins BT, Liu Xiangdong and the group talked cordially with the BT management personnel. They fully affirmed the accomplishments of the BT in managing production and operation in the past year, and hoped the BT to further strengthen management, maintain safe and stable operation, and give full play to the role of the main force for profit-making.
The company management then departed the plant area for Liyuwei Terminal, and visited the front-line employees of Terminal BT. They inquired about the berthing operation and products shipment, and expected all to work safely, implement regular measures of epidemic control, and have a safe and harmonious Spring Festival.
The company management Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Zhao Tianxing and Yang Fei visited the Product Quality Center, the Fire Group, Fuels-2 BT, Aromatics BT, Offsites BT and EOEG BT. They expressed greetings to the employees working on post. They shook hands with the employees and expressed greetings at each of their stop, and wished the employees and their families good health and good luck in the new year.
In CCR 1#, Saleh Yahya Al Zaid talked with the employees of Fuels-2 BT, and thanked their contributions to 2021 Turnaround/ Revamp. He encouraged the employees to carry forward good traditions, improve management skill, summarize and study process technology for strengthened operation ability and safe/ stable/ optimal operation in fully load and long term. At the operation console of Offsites BT, Saleh Yahya Al Zaid talked cordially with the youth employee Hou Ziyan, asked her about her work and life. As learned that Hou Ziyan graduated from East China University of Science and Technology, he thumbed up and praised her, and encouraged her to take root in the front line, improve skills and lay a solid foundation for her career development.
The company management then visited Aromatics BT, expressed greetings and gratitude to the employees for their hard work during the Turnaround/ Revamp. Saleh Yahya Al Zaid said that he observed people working busily at the maintenance site during his safety walkabouts. The hard work of all contributed to the success of the Turnaround/ Revamp. The successful one time start-up was the result of unity, cooperation and hard work of the whole business team. He also expressed the expectation on good working style and new contributions to the high-quality development of the company.
In the CCR of EOEG BT, the banner of "Good Habits of Study and Work Are the Key of Success & Strong Awarebess of responsibility and improvement Are the Foundation of Development" on the wall was eye-catching. Saleh Yahya Al Zaid said that EOEG Debottlenecking Revamp Project was successful, which further expanded the units’ capacity and achieved good safety performance. The spirit of "One Team One Goal" was fully demonstrated. He hoped all to maintain safe and stable operation, and make new contributions to continuous improvement of quality and profit.
When talking with the employees, the company management expected that all could work together in the upcoming challenging year to comprehensively improve the company’s competitiveness, safety, production and profit, and made continuous progress on high-quality development. The company and the employees would have a better future as long as all worked hard.
The visits and greetings passed warmth and care, and further built employees’ confidence and cohesion. All employees would work hard in the new year with higher confidence and enthusiasm, strive to fully complete production and operation annual targets and tasks of production/ operation, and contribute to the high-quality development of the company in the new era.
