Chen Xiaobo, Member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Congress, Visited the Company for Research
On January 6, a delegation led by Chen Xiaobo, member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Congress, visited the company for research. The company management Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Lin Xu, Zhao Tianxing and Neo Ee Ee warmly welcomed Chen Xiaobo and his delegation, and had in-depth exchanges on relevant topics.
Saleh Yahya Al Zaid welcomed Chen Xiaobo and his delegation. He commented that FREP has a strong management team, which contributed to the continuous development of the company facing both opportunities and challenges. He thanked Mr. Chen Xiaobo for his contribution to FREP during his tenure, and hoped that he would give advice and guidance for FREP development in future, to create a better tomorrow for FREP together.
Chen Xiaobo briefly introduced the topic and the significance of this research. He commented that petrochemical industry was an important pillar industry of Fujian Province. With current policies on carbon peaking, carbon neutrality, energy intensity control and energy consumption control, how to realize high quality development of petrochemical industry was one of the hot topics in Fujian Province. FREP has gained rich experience during its development. This research was mainly aiming at understanding the current situations of FREP, as well as its production difficulties and the development roadmap, so as to provide better advice and suggestions for petrochemical industry development in Fujian Province.
Zhang Zhiping, Deputy General Manager of Technical & Planning Department, presented a report on "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Targets and High-quality Development of Petrochemical Enterprise" in terms of carbon emission limits, units’ energy efficiency, energy saving measures and carbon reduction actions.
At the meeting, the two sides also had in-depth exchanges on energy saving technologies, process routes, revamp projects and other topics of concern.
Management personnel of relevant departments of FPCL and personnel of relevant disciplines of Technical & Planning Department of FREP participated in the research. (Zhang Lei)
