Select Senior Talents to Boost the Company Development



On February 15, the company organized a comprehensive review meeting of senior talents of 2022 to evaluate the experts to be appointed (or renewed) in 2022. The company management Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Lin Xu, Zhao Tianxing, Neo Ee Ee and Yang Fei attended the meeting.

After indepth discussion and comprehensive evaluation, the reviewer committee decided that the company would appoint three experts in 2022, i.e., Wu Tengshou of Techncial& Planning Department, Yin Huading and Shi Benlin of Mechanical Department.

At the review meeting, seven experts appointed in 2021, i.e., Chen Jingtao, Xie Weidong, Lai Renman, Liu Zhi’an, Wang Qingzhong, Pan Huisheng and Li Lin, reported the progress and achievements of their research in 2021 to the reviewer committee. The committee was generally satisfied with the work progress of the seven experts, and agreed to extend their appointment in 2022.

As per the review procedure, the basic information of the senior talents proposed was publicized from February 16 to February 22, and the formal appointment procedure was initiated after five working days of publicity. After the new appointment and appointment renewal, the number of experts appointed by the company would increase to 10. The experts were engaged in operation skills, process technology, refining and chemical equipment, operation and management and other fields of the company. The appointment period of the experts was three years. During this period, they would undertake challenging tasks and receive corresponding expert allowances. They were experts in each field and set a good example for the career development of professional technicians and operation technicians of the company.

The company management fully affirmed the expert review work, appreciated the experts’ achievements in various fields, and put forward requirements for further improving talent training and use. First, give full play to the role of experts, effectively enhance the sense of responsibility of experts and stimulate their enthusiasm to work, proactively select research topics focusing on continuously improvement of quality and profitability, continuously tackle difficult issues and create new achievements. Second, use various forms to explore and cultivate talents with expert potentials, assign responsibilities and tasks to them, help them to grow through practice and excise, and promote construction of talent team. Third, strengthen publicity of the work achievements of experts and talents, select all kinds of talents who have made achievements in overcoming difficulties, innovation and creating profit to set examples and create a good atmosphere to encourage employees to learn technical knowledge and study skills.

It was reported that the 10 experts would apply for research topics soon, and would play their exemplary and leading role in the high-quality development of the company. (Liu Yanling)
