On the afternoon of February 25, the company held the work conference of 2022 on company Party Committee work, building good conduct and political integrity and anti-corruption work. Nearly 100 people, including members of the Party Committee, the company management, the Discipline Inspection Commission, the safety director, secretaries or deputy secretaries of the primary level Party (general) Branches, management personnel of each department, unit and frontline team, and management personnel of the middle level and above of Party& Union Department, middle-level secondees, some representatives of the Party Congress and discipline inspectors of the company, attended the meeting.

Liu Xiangdong, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the company, made a work report of the company Party Committee of 2022 titled "Cultivate Political Advantages, Shoulder Responsibilities and Missions Bravely and Make Concerted Efforts to Make New Achievements in the New Era".

In the past year, the Party Committee of the company mainly focused on seven aspects: first, consolidated and deepened Party's political construction and achieved firmer "two upholding"; second, carried out Party history learning and education in a down-to-earth manner and implemented the original aspiration and mission more consciously; third, continuously consolidated basic work at the primary level level and realized stronger organizational construction of the Party; fourth, kept working hard on selecting and appointing talents and further optimized the structure of cadres and talents; fifth, promoted full and strict governance over the Party in an in-depth manner and created a stronger atmosphere of good conduct and political integrity; sixth, strengthened the guidance of publicity and ideological work and gave full play to the role of cohesion; seventh, the mass and Youth League organizations played a positive role in further promoting construction of “well-being of Fulian”.

General requirements of the Party Committee of the company for work in 2022: adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, fully implement the general requirements for Party building in the new era and the organizational path of the Party in the new era, deeply implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and all previous plenary sessions of the 19^th National People’s Congress, the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions when he inspected Shengli Oilfield and his important speeches during his research in Fujian Province, in accordance with the arrangement and deployment of the Party Group of Sinopec Group and the Party Committee of Fujian Province, take welcoming the 20^th CPC National Congress and implementing the spirit of it as the main thread, closely focus on the general work idea of "1355" of Party building of Sinopec Group, consolidate and deepen the achievements in Party history learning and education and implementation of the spirit of the National Party Building Conference of State-Owned Enterprises, promote full and strict governance over the Party with more solid responsibility, higher quality and better effectiveness, and earnestly take high-quality Party building as the guide to ensure all-round and high-quality development, and make new achievements in building Sinopec into a leading and clean energy petrochemical company of the world and promoting high-quality development and transcendence of Fujian Province in an all-round way.

In 2022, the Party Committee of the company will focus on six aspects. First, strengthen political leadership and make every effort to strengthen political construction of the Party. We should strengthen political loyalty, improve political ability and assign political responsibilities in a solid manner. Second, strengthen quality and profitability improvement, and make every effort to strengthen Party building at the primary level level. We should focus on systematic planning, strengthen integration and mutual promotion, pay close attention to Party branch construction, and work hard on innovation and expansion. Third, strengthen team construction and make every effort to strengthen support of cadres and talents. We should adhere to the correct orientation in screening and using talents, continuously optimize the cadre team structure, encourage cadres to take on responsibilities bravely, and deepen the program of "strengthen the enterprise through talent cultivation". Fourth, strengthen the discipline and work style, and make every effort to strengthen building good conduct and political integrity and fighting corruption. We should improve quality and effectiveness of supervision, persistently correct the "four malfeasances" and establish new trends, and promote the "three don’ts" in an all-round way. Fifth, strengthen inheritance and innovation, and make every effort to strengthen publicity and ideological work. We should take the initiative in ideological work, complete in-depth and detailed publicity and guidance, strengthen ideological and political work, and promote construction of spiritual civilization and corporate culture. Sixth, strengthen utilization of advantages and make every effort to enhance effectiveness of work of the Union and League. Strengthen functions of the Labor Union and work of the Youth League.

In 2021, the Discipline Inspection Commission of the company continuously practiced the "two upholding" and continuously implemented political supervision in a down-to-earth and detail-oriented manner; continuously improved quality and effectiveness of supervision and further deepened full and strict governance over the Party; continuously promoted disciplinary inspections and gave full play to the role of the “sharp sword”; continuously kept the high-pressure situation and continuously enriched and strengthened the new trends; continuously strengthened self construction, and continuously improved the capability and morale of the discipline inspection team.

In 2022, the company would focus on the following seven aspects in building good conduct and political integrity and fighting corruption.

First, pay more attention to political escort and work hard on practicing the "two upholding". We should strengthen the awareness of "two upholding", improve quality and effectiveness of political supervision, and strengthen supervision of "key few". Second, pay more attention to responsibility collaboration and work hard on promoting construction of first-class political ecology. We should lead by examples and assign the principle responsibilities in a solid manner, promote construction of “political integrity of FPCL” starting from points, and promote construction with assessment to optimize the political ecology. Third, pay more attention to systematic treatment and work hard on expanding effectiveness of construction of the "three don'ts". We should build a "back wall" of “daring not corrupt”, strengthen the "bottom plate" of “cannot corrupt”, and polish the "original aspiration" of “not willing to corrupt”. Fourth, pay more attention to both correction and setting examples, and strive to carry forward the new healthy trends of the times. We should spare no efforts to consolidate the achievements, make targeted efforts to eradicate stubborn obstacles and chronic diseases, and work hard on promoting good habits and putting an end to bad ones to cultivate the good atmosphere. Fifth, pay more attention to inheritance and innovation, and strive to exhibit the effectiveness of supervision and governance. We should promote standardization, legalization and normalization of discipline inspection and supervision, promote the effective connection and integration of "big supervision" and deepen routine supervision. Sixth, pay more attention to the coordination at different levels and work hard on improving quality and effectiveness of political disciplinary inspections. First, do a good job in the "second half" of rectification of disciplinary inspections. Second, complete the task of "full coverage" of disciplinary inspections with high quality. Third, improve the mechanism to facilitate rectifications. Seventh, pay more attention to strict and concrete implementation and strive to forge an “iron army” of discipline inspection and supervision. We should shape our soul with political construction, support ourselves by improving our capabilities, establish credit with self-discipline, and forge a loyal, clean and responsible “iron army” of discipline inspection and supervision with the iron discipline and working style.

At the meeting, the outstanding employees in discipline inspection and supervision of the year 2021 were commended. The meeting also issued the letter of commitment for the targets and tasks of primary level Party branches, the letter of commitment for building good conduct and political integrity and fighting corruption and the letter of commitment for maintaining stability of letters and visits to each general Party branch and directly affiliated Party branch.

Zhao Tianxing, deputy general manager of the company, chaired the conference and put forward four expectations on how to implement the spirit of the conference. First, fulfill responsibilities and thoroughly implement the spirit of the "two work reports"; second, deepen integration and mutual promotion, and adhere to promoting high-quality development through high-quality Party building; third, adhere to the principle of treating both symptoms and root causes, and continuously consolidate the political ecology with clean and honest atmosphere; fourth, work hard on the key tasks at current stage.
