On December 23, the Party Committee of the company held a special lecture on the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19^th CPC Central Committee.

Liu Xiangdong, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the company, gave a lecture titled "Earnestly Study and Implement the Spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19^th CPC Central Committee and Make New Achievements in Promoting High-quality Development of the Company in the New Era". Yang Fei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and chairman of the Labor Union of the company, chaired the lecture. Zhang Xiguo, Hu Hongye, Chen Feishan, Lin Xu, Zhao Tianxing, Lai Shuiming and Hong Xiaojiang attended the lecture.

The lecture was organized in Fulian Building, FREP Office Building and Gulei Office Building via video conference. More than 120 people, including middle-level cadres, the responsible people of the primary level Party branches and employee representatives, attended the lecture.

Liu Xiangdong made a report on the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19^th CPC Central Committee in combination with his own studying and thinking and the actual situations of the company's reform and development.

Liu Xiangdong commented that we should further understand the great historical and practical significance of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19^th CPC Central Committee and earnestly enhance the consciousness and initiative of studying and implementing the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session.

Liu Xiangdong required that we should accurately understand the core meaning and spiritual essence of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19^th CPC Central Committee and draw wisdom and strength from the Party's great achievements and historical experience in the past century.

Liu Xiangdong stressed that we should earnestly study, publicize and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19^th CPC Central Committee, further understand the great significance of the "two establishment", "five historical significance" and "the three sentences of 52 words" about state-owned assets and enterprises, and gather a strong driving force to promote the all-round and high-quality development of the company to make new achievements and realize better performance.

First, bear general secretary's instructions firmly in mind and turn our profound respect for general secretary Xi Jinping into a powerful spiritual driving force to promote the all-round and high-quality development of the company. Bear in mind the spirit of general secretary's important exposition and instructions on state-owned enterprises and firmly establish the responsibilities of the state-owned enterprise; keep the spirit of the important instructions of general secretary in Shengli Oilfield firmly in mind, and gather the inexhaustible power to make new achievements and realize better performance; keep the spirit of instructions of general secretary on the development of the company firmly in mind and promote the all-round and high-quality development of the company to a higher level.

Second, clearly understand the current situation and our mission, consolidate the foundation of faith through learning, thinking, practice and enlightenment, and supplement calcium of spirit. We should adhere to our ideal and faith and transform the implementation of the core meaning of the "two establishment" into ideological, political and action consciousness to resolutely achieve "two upholding". We should accurately grasp the situation and tasks, and turn the historical experience of implementing the "ten insistence" into an important ideological weapon to correctly judge the situation, scientifically predict the future and grasp the initiative of history. We should practice our original aspiration, commitment and mission, and transform the practice of “realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation" into improving the responsibility and ability of cadres and employees to work for the Party in the economic field.

Third, shoulder responsibilities proactively and bravely, complete all work well when the new year was coming and plan work for the next year. We should deepen Party history learning and education and do a good job in the "second half". Earnestly study and publicize the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and guide all the Party members, cadres and employees to align their mindset and actions with the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session. Proactively plan work for the next year, comprehensively handle the relationship between development and safety, plan and implementation, quality and cost, never slacken the normalized pandemic prevention and control, ensure good completion of the annual targets and tasks, scientific planning of the work of the next year, to have a good start of the 14^th Five-Year Plan, and welcome the 20^th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements!

Yang Fei expected strengthening organization and leadership to ensure effective publicity of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session. All units and departments should, in accordance with the unified deployment of Sinopec Group, pay close attention to the publicity at each level, and make joint efforts to deepen study, publicity and implementation in a solid manner.

Closely combine with actual situation and work hard on the annual targets and tasks. All units and departments shall earnestly combine the study and implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session with the current key tasks, and make every effort to finish wrap-up work of the year to ensure completion of all targets and tasks as scheduled.

Deepen learning, thinking, practice and enlightenment and work hard on planning of the next year. Party members and cadres at all levels shall comply with higher standards, be proactive in benchmarking and mindset alignment, transform learning results into detailed measures to improve work and create a new phase.
