On November 8, Chen Liang, director of Fujian Energy Conservation Center, led a joint research group composed of personnel from Fujian Industry and Information Technology Department, Fujian Development and Reform Commission and Fujian Ecology and Environment Department, visited the company to research the “energy dual control” targets and tasks. Lin Xu, vice president of the company, accompanied the research.

Lin Xu thanked the supports of relative government authorities to the company’s production, operation, master plan, energy saving and emission reduction. He commented that the company proactively responded to the policy of vigorously development of new energy and the industrial development trend of "oil to chemical", as well as proactively promoted the SC expansion project, improved the company’s competitiveness, promoted energy-saving and carbon emission reduction revamp projects such as the Aromatics Low-temperature Heat Revamp Project, developed new energy projects such as the Photovoltaic Project, and explored the production of environmental friendly new materials through the Syngas Utilization Project, so as to realize high-quality development of the company.

After the company reported the situations of production, operation, energy saving and power saving in recent years, Chen Liang commented that all key energy consuming enterprises should adapt to the new development stage, implement the new development concept, and cooperate with the government to curb the blind development of "high energy consumption and high emission" projects and complete the tasks of “energy dual control”; make good project development planning and layout, strictly implement energy saving review, and contribute to the regional economic growth, industrial chain extension and "energy dual control". The governments at all levels would further standardize the energy statistics and reporting, guide the enterprises to report energy statistic data truthfully, and improve the quality of energy statistics.

At the meeting, the two sides also exchanged and discussed the development trend of energy industry, the development of new energy and energy statistics etc.
