Recently, after the continuous "baking" heat, typhoon and rainstorm followed. Extreme weather had a great impact on our work. However, the company's front-line employees always stuck to their posts and worked hard to complete the production tasks up to high standard.

On the morning of August 5, in the heavy rain, the company management Liu Xiangdong, Lin Xu, Zhao Tianxing and Neo Ee Ee went to shift teams in two groups to distribute heatstroke prevention supplies to the employees. They brought cool to the front-line employees.

The company management visited Mechanical Department, Product Quality Center, CCR 1#, fire brigade building, EOEG CCR, electrical operation monitoring center, PO field operation room, Olefin field operation room, CCR 2#, engineer building and Terminal CCR to send heatstroke prevention supplies to the hard-working employees, expressed gratitude to them for overcoming the impact of extreme weather, sticking to posts in recent months, and working hard to realize stable and safe production of the company.

In CCR 1#, while distributing heatstroke prevention supplies, Liu Xiangdong, Lin Xu and other management personnel said that everyone worked hard, and told people to pay attention to safety, do a good job in typhoon and flood control, especially in rounds inspection. In a cordial conversation with the employees of Fuels-2 Business Team, Liu Xiangdong asked in detail about the smooth startup of the new Alkylation Unit, told everyone to pay attention to heatstroke prevention and take care of health, and required the Business Team to carefully organize and make good arrangements to create a good working environment for employees.

In EOEG CCR, Liu Xiangdong and Lin Xu inquired in detail about smooth operation and the debottleneck revamp of EOEG Unit. They required the employees to work hard on production safety and unit revamp, so as to contribute to the annual targets.

Zhao Tianxing, Neo Ee Ee and the group visited the electrical operation monitoring center, inquired about electrical operation in summer, and stressed the importance of strengthening preventive work against typhoon, flood and lightning, so as to maintain smooth operation of the units.

In PO field operation room, Zhao Tianxing, Neo Ee Ee and other management personnel distributed gifts to the employees working hard on their posts, told them to pay attention to heatstroke prevention, and inquired about production and operation of the units in detail. They stressed that chemical products were the important profit growth point of the company, and stable operation of the units should be strengthened to contribute to profitability improvement of the company.

In CCR 2#, Zhao Tianxing and Neo Ee Ee required Utilities Business Team to carry out risk identification on key parts in advance such as waste water treatment plant, thus to remove potential safety hazards in time.

Facing the severe test of extreme weather, front-line employees stuck to their posts and contributed to the development of the company with full enthusiasm all the time. At each stop, the company management asked in detail about production, people management and safety protection measures, cared about the employees' daily life, work and rest, time table, etc., and instructed the Business Teams to do a good job in heatstroke prevention, scientifically and reasonably arrange work time and rest time, and provide heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies on site.

The company management required all departments and Business Teams to attach great importance to production safety in summer and ensure smooth and safe advancement of heatstroke prevention and typhoon/ flood control. As the current pandemic prevention and control pressure was great and the company's business tasks were challenging, they required the whole organization to stick to the company's annual targets, paying attention to production safety of units all the time, making efforts and taking measures in innovation and profitability improvement to ensure smooth completion of annual targets and tasks.
