The Company Held the Welcome Meeting for 2021 New Hires


In shinning youth, let’s set sail for the dream journey. On the afternoon of August 4, the company held a welcome meeting for 2021 new hires in the 3/F conference hall of Quanzhou office building.

Company management Liu Xiangdong, Lin Xu, Zhao Tianxing and Neo Ee Ee attended the meeting. Management personnel of Process Department, Mechanical Department, HR& Admin Department, Party& Union Department and in total 96 newly hires attended the welcome meeting.

In his speech, Liu Xiangdong congratulated 2021 new hires on choosing FREP, and put forward three expectations. First, change the role from student to employee as soon as possible. Based on the post, practice and study, summarize and improve, and accumulate energy. Second, focus on production safety, strengthen personal protection and ensure safety of ourselves and others. Third, strengthen learning, be diligent in thinking, learn and consult with colleagues and masters with an open mind, make self-improvement and self-perfect, and become talents as soon as possible on the broad platform provided by the company. In the end, he hoped that new employees could actively integrate into the company, work hard, live a happy life, maintain good physical and mental state, and meet challenges in a positive mood every day.

Lin Xu, Zhao Tianxing and Neo Ee Ee also put forward requirements and expectations for new employees in their speeches. First, attach importance to safety. Safety is the basis of company development. Not only protect ourselves, but also protect others, and truly implement safety awareness in actions. Second, take root in frontline with a down-to-earth manner, learn conscientiously, combine theory with practice, so as to improve ability continuously and become the backbone of the company. Third, set up correct mindset. The work would not be easy, but as the choice had been made, one should take responsibilities and tackle challenges with great persistence.

At the meeting, management personnel of relevant departments also put forward requirements for the new employees.

At the welcome meeting, the representatives of 2020 hires, Zhu Yuan and Lv Xingyue shared their personal growth experience and insights in the company, vividly explained the significance of struggle and sense of responsibility, and called on the new employees to do the best to improve professional technique and work capability.

The new hires of this year made a feature film, introduced themselves with great passion, and expressed their desire to integrate into FREP family as soon as possible and contribute to the rapid development of the company.

Next, new employees would receive induction training, safety orientation and training, military training and general knowledge training. The company would also organize and carry out induction training reporting meeting for the new employees to help them to integrate into the big family of FREP, more accurately set career goals and grow more rapidly into outstanding employees.

It was reported that the 96 new hires of 2021 were from Bond University Australia, the University of Queensland Australia, Xiamen University, South China University of Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, China University of Petroleum, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Fuzhou University, Changzhou University, Southwest Petroleum University, Lanzhou Petrochemical College of Vocational Technology and other universities at home and abroad.
