On July 28, Zhou Sheng, Director of the hazardous chemicals division of Fujian Provincial Emergency Management Department, led relevant provincial, municipal and district personnel to the company for a production safety inspection.

Vice President Lin Xu welcomed Zhou Sheng and his group and arranged relevant personnel to cooperate with the inspection.

The inspection group successively inspected the emergency material warehouse, Offsites acid-caustic tank farms and PO Unit of the company, and carefully inspected the major hazard source assurance responsibility system, safety commitment announcement system, post responsibility system, training, hazard identification and rectification system, emergency drill, etc., and gave guidance on the progress of the three-year special safety rectification plan of hazardous chemicals.

At the feedback meeting, Zhou Sheng comments on the inspection. He said that the overall operation of FREP was good. For the findings of this inspection, he hoped that FREP could rectify and correct immediately, draw inferences from the instances and roll out the experience, so as to improve site standardization level and equipment management level. At the same time, the company should further improve safety awareness, continuously improve detail-oriented management, and earnestly implement the main responsibility of production safety.

Relevant personnel of Process Department, HSE Department, Mechanical Department, Supply & Distribution Department and Business Teams of the company also participated in the inspection.

This was a routine inspection on production safety of large enterprises in Fujian Province carried out by Fujian Provincial Emergency Management Department. (Li Zheng)
