On the morning of June 28, the company held the award ceremony of Innovation Day 2020.

The company management Joost Emmen and Nouraddin A. Yousuf attended the ceremony.

President Joost Emmen congratulated the winners, thanked Innovation Day group for their hard work, and affirmed the achievements of Innovation Day activities. He said that in 2020, the Innovation Day group overcame the impact of the pandemic, actively expanded online idea collection channels focusing on key focus areas of the company, made idea collection more convenient, received positive response from the employees, as well as a large number of feasible ideas about the actual production. Many of the ideas would be implemented and bring more benefits to the company. He hoped that in the new year, the company's employees would continue to think out of the box, continuously innovate and contribute to the development of the company.

Vice President Nouraddin A. Yousuf affirmed the work results of the Innovation Day Team, encouraged all employees to innovate continuously, brainstorm and put forward more "gold ideas" to contribute to the development of the company.

Chee Chia Shian, sponsor of the Innovation Day Committee, thanked the team members for their hard work in his summary speech. He hoped that he could lead the members of Innovation Day to continue their efforts in the next year, collect more ideas and put them into practice, and make contributions to the sustainable development of the company.

At the ceremony, Zhang Jinli, chairman of the Innovation Day Committee, reported on Innovation Day 2020 in terms of publicity, idea collection and review, progress and outlook, Innovation Day members, etc.

Edison Award, Gold Craftsman Award, Gold Pen Award, Community Contribution Award, Best Team Contribution Award and Innovation Day Team Contribution Award were presented at the Innovation Day 2020.

It was reported that in total 1863 gold ideas were collected in 2020, of which 34% of them were high value gold ideas. The company established an Innovation Day activity column on the company portal, and contacted each Model Worker Studio to enrich the idea collection channels while ensuring quality of the ideas.
