On the afternoon of May 18, a delegation led by Liu Wei, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Management, visited FREP to research safety management and production safety of the tank farm at Qinglanshan Terminal. Sun Guangyu, Director of the Hazardous Chemicals Supervision Division-I of the Ministry of Emergency Management, Qiu Meihui, chief engineer of Fujian Emergency Management Department, Xiao Hanhui, Deputy Mayor of Quanzhou City, Joost Emmen, President of the company, Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Lin Xu, Vice Presidents of the company accompanied the research.

Liu Wei and his group learnt the safety management of the tank farm of Qinglanshan Terminal on site, listened to the company's report on safety management and production safety of Qinglanshan Terminal, and inquired about key positions, major hazard sources and other safety management work of the Terminal. Liu Wei inquired about the implementation of the company's safety supervision system in detail, fully affirmed production safety management of the company, stressed that production safety management should be done well, and practical measures should be taken based on the actual situation to remove hazards fundamentally.

Liu Wei also inquired about the overall situation of the company's production and operation in detail, and was interested in the joint venture in learning from Chinese and foreign shareholders and introducing advanced management experience and concept to form a corporate culture with Chinese and foreign joint venture characteristics. He paid attention to the operation of OIMS of FREP and communicated with President Joost Emmen.

Liu Wei stressed that we should always pay close attention to production safety, benchmark with the leading domestic and international enterprises, attach great importance to the construction of intrinsic safety of the company, vigorously promote centralized and systematic management of major hazard sources, focus on intrinsic safety through the whole process of production, operation and management, and work hard to build a world-class company with intrinsic safety.
