On the afternoon of June 28, the company held a commendation conference to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and commend the "Two Outstanding and One Advanced". The company held grand gathering to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, reviewed the glorious course of the Party, praised the Party's achievements, commended the advanced units and individuals, called on and mobilized Party organizations and Party members at all levels to inherit the red gene, uphold the struggling spirit, and actively participate in all-round high-quality development of the company.

In total 150 Party members, including secretary of each general Party branch and Party branch at primary level, representatives of the "Two Outstanding and One Advanced" and newly admitted Party members attended the meeting.

All the new and old Party members at the meeting reviewed the admission oath of the Party together.

The meeting announced the advanced units and individuals commended by the Leading Party Members’ Group of Sinopec Group, the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and the CPC Quanzhou Municipal Committee, read the commending decision of the "Two Outstanding and One Advanced", and presented awards to the representatives of the "Two Outstanding and One Advanced".

Comrade Liu Xiangdong, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of FPCL, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of FREP, delivered a Party lecture to the Party members at the meeting. Focusing on learning and implementing the important exposition of general secretary Xi Jinping and the requirements of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Sinopec Group and the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, he reviewed the Party history in five aspects, the 38-year reforming and development history of Sinopec and the 32-year founding and development history of FPCL, and put forward detailed requirements for current work.

First, we should carry out Party history learning and education, and publicity and education of the “four histories” in a solid manner, persistently implement the Party's instructions, be grateful to the Party, follow the Party, and draw on great power of development from the glorious journey of the Party. Second, we should deeply understand the great course and historical contribution of the Communist Party of China in its hundred years of struggle. Third, we should fully understand the important achievements and position of Sinopec in the overall development of the Party and the nation. Fourth, we should accurately understand the outstanding contribution and important role of FPCL in the overall development of Sinopec and Fujian Province. Fifth, we should learn from, benchmark against, and catch up with the advanced models, adhere to promoting high-quality development with high-quality Party building, and further give full play to the exemplary and leading role of advanced models.

Liu Xiangdong required that we should continuously work hard on production safety and team stability, and effectively carry out key tasks of production, operation and project construction at current stage. Further deepen benchmarking, actively learn experience from advanced enterprises to close gaps, and work hard to achieve the goal of returning to the top quartile as soon as possible.

Yang Fei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and chairman of the Labor Union of the company, put forward three requirements on earnestly learning, understanding and implementing the spirit of the meeting: first, we should improve our understanding. Party organizations at each level should coordinate the implementation of the spirit of this meeting and the spirit of the meeting of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Sinopec Group, and carry out the meetings’ spirit through "three meetings and one lecture" and the theme Party Day. Second, we should learn from advanced models. Carry out in-depth publicity of advanced model deeds and create a strong atmosphere of learning from advanced models and working hard to become advanced models in the company. All the Party members should benchmark with advanced models, stick to the posts and work hard, dedicate to work, and strive to be the best. Third, we should ensure safety and stability at current stage, give full play to the battle bastion role of the Party organizations and the leading and exemplary role of Party members, effectively implement safety measures and make every effort to safeguard the grand celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China based on the special security action of “five inspection and five strict” and “Production Safety Month” activities. Management personnel at each level should implement the management requirements during the sensitive period, strengthen emergency on-duty system and ensure stable production.
