The Company Held the Commencement Ceremony of Aromatics Complex Debottleneck and Revamp Project
On the morning of January 8, the company held the commencement ceremony of Aromatics Complex Debottleneck and Revamp Project and Aromatics Low-temperature Heat Use Revamp Project (Phase I), which marked that the projects started the implementation stage.
President Joost Emmen, Vice President Lin Xu and Vice President Zhao Tianxing, and Deputy General Manager Tang Mingzhi of Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Joost Emmen expressed his gratitude to all the units engaging in the projects. He said he felt warm despite the weather was cold. With the efforts made by all parties in the past two years, the project officially started construction. He commented that this project was a major project to improve the company’s competitiveness, and there are challenges about construction in running units. He hoped that all units to cooperate with each other sincerely, pay attention to safety and quality, and make the project a high-quality one.
It is reported that the revamp scope of the projects involves six processing units such as CCR, as well as the utilities within the battery limit. Through adaptability revamp, the potential production capacity of Aromatics Complex can be fully tapped, and the energy consumption and solid waste discharge can be reduced, thus further improve the profits of Aromatics Complex.
The representatives of Sinopec Engineering Incorporation, Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company, Beijing Bipaike Project Management Company and other units, the management of Mechanical Department, Process Department, T&P Department, HSE Department and other relevant personnel attended the ceremony.
