Gu Yuefeng, Chairman of BOD, Visited the Production Skill Field Training Base for Research and Guidance
On the afternoon of December 4, Gu Yuefeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of BOD of the company, went to the production skill training base of the company for research and guidance.
In the training base, Gu Yuefeng visited the training areas of heating furnace, motor pump, compressor and energy isolation, asked about the actual training situation in detail, and put forward guidance opinions on specific issues such as pump stop and start, actual operation of heating furnace, blinding, pipeline marking and filter switching.
Gu Yuefeng listened to the report of Wu Liangjiang, the lead of the base, on the overall situation of the training base, understood the construction, employee training, training planning and the future development plan of the training base, and fully affirmed the contributions of the training base to talent cultivation work of the company.
Gu Yuefeng said that the construction of the production skill field training base was of great significance. It provided a good platform for the growth of youth employees, and helped employees to further improve operation skills and reduce mis-operations. In the preparation process of the base, all departments and business teams of the company made joint efforts and created conditions, which reflected the good tradition and spirit of "three old and four strict" of petroleum and petrochemical industry.
Gu Yuefeng put forward three suggestions for the training base. The first is to continuously improve the base, do a good job of instructions and guidance, and build a professional training base; the second is to focus on field training, improve pipeline marking, increase demonstration of operation processes, focus on hands-on operations of employees, further improve the level of practical operation, and create a good training and learning atmosphere; the third is to do a good job in safety and take measures such as soft/ hard isolations to ensure safety of the employees during training.
Gu Yuefeng put forward expectations for the future development of the training base. First, make a good training plan, not only to train new employees' operation, but also to improve the skills of elder employees, so as to "know not only skills but also the principles", and strive to win places in Sinopec and national professional skills competitions. Second, cultivate influential experts and improve understanding of professional fields, who can not only solve issues of the company, but also influence other areas. Third, train more technicians, open up and broaden talent channels, and improve technical level of employees. Fourth, plan the training process step by step steadily, and provide each training in high quality.
Practical production skills and operations of employees adhere to the strategy of "people-oriented and strengthening the enterprise by talents", the principle of “being close to field operation training”, take youth employee training as the main stream, integrate training and teaching, competition, emergency drill, achievement display and other functions, and build a good platform for the company's talent cultivation. Through the training mode combining "theory and practice", the base enabled youth employees to quickly understand their working environment, master professional technique and integrate into their jobs, so as to contribute to building the company into a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness.
