On December 4, a delegation led by Chen Shalong, director of Quangang Petrochemical Industry Park Management Committee, visited the company. Joost Emmen, President of the company, met with Chen Shalong and his delegation in Fulian building. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on common concerns.

Joost Emmen expressed his gratitude to Quangang Petrochemical Industry Park Management Committee for its long-term strong support to the company. He introduced the company's production and operation, Master Plan and development, and put forward issues that requested coordination and help of the Industrial Park. He hoped that the government and the Industrial Park would give greater support and help to the future planning and development of FREP. He commented that the company would further strengthen safety and environmental protection, production and operation, continuously improve quality and profit of development, and promote the future construction and development of FREP, support better development of the Industrial Park and make greater contributions to the development of local economy.

Chen Shalong introduced the situation of Quangang Petrochemical Industry Park Management Committee. He expressed his appreciation to FREP for learning and introducing advanced technologies, management experience and concepts of Chinese and foreign shareholders to form a management mode with the characteristics of Sino-foreign joint venture, and expressed his appreciation for the contributions made by FREP to promoting development of the Industrial Park. He said that the Industrial Park has set up a special work team to strengthen the service and coordination with enterprises. Next, an Industrial Park-enterprise consultative management mechanism will be established to hold regular discussions on matters of common concerns. He hoped that FREP would give full play to its leading role in the petrochemical industry, focus on extending and expanding petrochemical industry chain, and promote re-orientation and upgrading of petrochemical industry; the Industrial Park would further strengthen its service awareness, work hand in hand with enterprises to achieve win-win target, and drive the high-quality development of the Industrial Park.Chen saloon introduced the situation of Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park. He expressed his appreciation to FREP for drawing on and introducing advanced technology, management experience and ideas of Chinese and foreign shareholders to form a management mode with the characteristics of Sino foreign joint ventures, and expressed his appreciation for the contribution made by Fujian Refining and petrochemical company to promoting the development of the park. He said that the park has now set up a special work class to strengthen the docking of enterprise services. Next, a mechanism of park enterprise consultation will be established to hold regular consultations on matters of common concern to the park and enterprises. It is hoped that Fujian United Petrochemical Company will give full play to the leading role of petrochemical industry, focus on extending and expanding the petrochemical industry chain, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry; the park will further strengthen its service awareness, work hand in hand with enterprises to create a win-win situation, and promote the high-quality development of the park.

The two sides also exchanged views on the topics of common concerns, and actively put forward suggestions and solutions for joint construction of the two sides. They hoped to further strengthen communication and exchange, and hold in-depth discussions on opportunities for cooperation and development.
