On the afternoon of December 9, work promotion meeting of the Model Worker Union in southwest Fujian Collaborative Development Zone was held in the company's employee skill training base. Lu Mingqi, member of the Party Group of Fujian Federation of the Labor Unions and director of the Economic Examination Committee, and Zhao Tianxing, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the company, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

In his speech, Lu Mingqi pointed out that work of Model Worker Union in the southwest Fujian Collaborative Development Zone had achieved remarkable results. The five Municipal Federation of the Labor Unions made concerted efforts to promote deepening of the specific actions of Model Worker Union, completed and improved the systems and mechanisms of the Union, and made accurate, effective and solid joint acts in the five cities. He hoped that, driven by Model Worker Union, the five cities in southwest Fujian could optimize resource allocation on a larger scale and at a higher level, and promote coordinated development in the region. He also gave guidance on the difficulties encountered and put forward specific requirements for the work of the Union in 2021.

Zhao Tianxing congratulated the work promotion meeting of the Model Worker Union of the southwest Fujian Collaborative Development Zone. He said that FREP continuously deepened the exploration, refining and guidance of "model worker spirit". Based on model worker Zhang Zhaohong Innovation Studio, we built an employee skill training base. Based on continuous test and experience, we built a series of interdisciplinary model studios, such as Huang Xiaobin Safety Innovation Studio and Model Worker Wu Liangjiang Studio, to provide broad platforms for talent training, tackling challenges and creating profit for the company, provide good support for the construction and collaborative development of industrial workers of Quanzhou, southwest Fujian and even the whole Fujian Province, and assist Fujian Province in high-quality development and surpass in the new era.

At the meeting, Wang Maoquan, Secretary of the Party Group and executive Vice Chairman of Quanzhou Federation of the Labor Unions, delivered a speech on behalf of the Federation of the Labor Unions. Zhang Zhaohong, a national model worker, made an exchange speech on behalf of the petrochemical workers' skill training base.

Leaders of the Federation of the Labor Unions of five cities spoke about personnel training, technical training, economic and technological innovation, and continuous promotion of the Model Worker Union in southwest Fujian. They put forward constructive suggestions, discussed the collective effect of model workers to jointly open up a joint construction platform, and organize model workers to cross-regionally play their roles in "teaching, helping and coaching".

The meeting also discussed and determined the leading unit of the Southwest Fujian Model Worker Union in 2021, established model worker work cluster in petrochemical industry of the Southwest Fujian Model Worker Union, and determined that Model Worker Zhang Zhaohong Innovation Studio was the leading unit of the cluster.

"Every innovation studio has its own strengths, specialties and advantageous projects, but none is all-mighty. All may encounter various issues." Zhang Zhaohong, a national model worker, said that the union of model worker innovation studios could not only give full play to the innovation, people, technical and equipment resources of the model worker innovation studios in the whole province, promote technological innovation, develop and expand the high-quality industrial workers team, but also promote the high-quality development of the innovation studio, and provide continuous power for the development of enterprises.

Before the meeting, participants also visited the employee skill training base to understand the work at the training base in depth, and observe the skills training and theoretical teaching.

Persons in charge of labor, economic and technology departments of Fujian Federation of the Labor Unions, leaders of the Federation of the Labor Unions of Xiamen, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou, Longyan, Sanming and other places, and representatives of petrochemical industry model workers attended the meeting.
