On November 23, Beijing University of Chemical Technology held the award ceremony of FREP scholarship. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Vice President of the company, Song Laixin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Zhao Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Materials Science and Engineering, and Yuan Huadong, General Manager of FREP HR & Admin Department, attended the ceremony. Relevant leaders and students from School of Materials Science and Engineering and School of Chemical Engineering of the University attended the ceremony.

Yuan Huadong delivered a speech on behalf of the company. First of all, he congratulated the excellent groups and individuals who won the scholarship. He said that Beijing University of Chemical Technology, as a university "cultivating advanced chemical talents required by cutting-edge science and technology", cultivated generations of excellent talents for chemical industry, and provided continuous development power for the sustainable development of petrochemical industry. He encouraged the students to seize the opportunity, carry forward petroleum and petrochemical spirit that are outstanding in bearing hardships and responsibilities, bravely shoulder the responsibility of youth, and grow into pillars of society and enterprises.

Song Laixin expressed his gratitude to FREP for its care for the growth of students, and introduced the development of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, especially major achievements in innovation and creating profit. He encouraged the scholarship winners with the mission and values of FREP, and hoped that the students would improve their understanding of FREP and bear the care of the society and the enterprises for students firmly in mind, and hoped the winners and other students would continuously strive for innovation, keep pace with the times, adhere to the original aspiration, bravely shoulder the mission, love the country and give back to the society.

Li Wanlong, the representative of the award-winning students, delivered a speech. He expressed his gratitude for the company's care and funding for college students, saying that he would take the award as a driving force, remain true to his original aspiration, work hard to become talents, live up to the expectations of the University and FREP, and repay the society with better achievements.

At the award ceremony, Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Yuan Huadong presented awards to the outstanding groups and individuals who won the scholarship respectively. A total of 12 students from different grades were awarded.

After the ceremony, accompanied by Zhao Jing, Nouraddin A. Yousuf visited the School of Materials Science and Engineering to learn more about the history of the school, the faculty and the achievements of production, study and research, and discussed further strengthening the exchanges between the university and the enterprise.
