On November 2, the kick-off meeting for the 2020 Reliability System (RS) Internal Assessment of the company was held in the Technology Hall in the plant. Company management Joost Emmen, Lin Xu and Zhao Tianxing, as well as the system owners, administrators and internal assessors attended the meeting.

Joost Emmen, president of the company, said that the company was committed to be a world-class petrochemical enterprise with sustainable competitiveness, and a comprehensive and all-around reliability system must be established and effectively implemented to achieve the target of sustainable reliability, availability and cost in line with the company's long-term interests. He hoped that all departments of the company should attach high importance to this internal assessment, create favorable conditions for the smooth progress of the internal assessment, identify and close gaps, and continuously improve RS elements.

Zhao Tianxing, vice president of the company and lead of the internal assessment group, gave a brief description of RS internal assessment work, briefly introduced the personnel allocation and schedule, and stressed that all internal assessors should conscientiously and carefully review to ensure that all personnel can understand and perform their respective responsibilities related to the realization of the system objectives.

It was reported that this RS internal assessment covered multiple aspects, including management leadership, risk assessment, mechanical and equipment, production process, incident analysis and operator care. (Liu Zonglin, Chen Yufeng)
