On November 18, the research group consisted of Zhang Shaofeng, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and chief accountant of Sinopec Group, outside directors, Zhang Yuqing, Wang Lili, Shi Huan, Chen Yueming, Wu Xiandong, and employee director Yu Xizhi of Sinopec Group visited FREP for research and work guidance.

Management personnel of FPCL, Gu Yuefeng, Liu Xiangdong and Zhang Xiguo, and OOP members of FREP, Joost Emmen, Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Lin Xu and Zhao Tianxing accompanied the research.

The research group visited the Model Worker Huang Xiaobin Safety Studio, the Exhibition Hall, the CCR in the new plant area and the production site, researched and learnt the company's production and operation management, pandemic prevention and control, “Continuous Challenges” activities, and the Master Plan.

In the Exhibition Hall, the research group learnt in detail about the company's production scale, technical process, product quality, marketing and sales etc.

In CCR of the new plant area, the research group visited the cadres and workers on post, shook hands with them cordially and expressed respect and best wishes.

In front of the "Monthly Production and Operation KPIs Comparison" board, the director group listened to the monthly production and operation KPIs comparison such as ethylene production and SC energy consumption, and talked with the company's foreign secondees. They hoped that foreign shareholders would be confident of China's strong market under the severe situation of the pandemic.

The research group commented that FREP should seize the opportunities and strengthen confidence. The more difficult it was, the more we should focus on reform, adjust the structure, strengthen fine management, work against the continuous challenges, spare no efforts to complete the annual tasks, and seriously consider reform and production and operation of next year. They hoped that FREP should give full play to the advantages of Sino/ foreign shareholders in preparing the Master Plan, learn from and introduce the advanced technologies and management experience of Sino/ foreign shareholders, so as to lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the joint venture.
