On July 22, a delegation led by Guo Ningning, Vice Governor of Fujian Province, visited FREP for research. Accompanied by the company management Gu Yuefeng, Joost Emmen and Zhao Tianxing, Guo Ningning visited the new central control room, Product Quality Center and plant site, listened to the reports, inquired about production and operation situation and project construction progress, and inquired about safety, environmental protection, quality control and other aspects in detail.

Guo Ningning recognized the business performance of FREP in recent years. She said that FREP was a large-scale Sino-foreign joint venture in petrochemical industry with strong shareholders. The company should fully leverage the industrial advantages and advanced management experience of the shareholders, practice hard to improve the management level, and realize the high-quality development of the company in the new era.

Guo Ningning commented that as a local leading enterprise, FREP should play an exemplary and leading role. In particular, product quality was of vital importance and was the lifeline of the company. While paying attention to development, the company should deeply understand the importance of product quality, keep pace with the times, adhere to the concept of sustainable development, do a good job in whole process quality management, and continuously provide the society with premium quality and clean refining and petrochemical products.

In Product Quality Center, Guo Ningning communicated with the discipline engineers about the test methods of oil products, inquired about the reasons for the fluctuation of control indicators, and encouraged everyone to be scientific and rigorous, strive for continuous improvement, and control the quality of products well.
