The Company Held the First Meeting of the Third Employee Representative Congress


On July 30, the company held the first meeting of the Third Employee Representative Congress in Quanzhou and Quangang by videoconferencing. Gu Yuefeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, President Joost Emmen, Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of the company Party Committee, Secretary of the company Discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of the company Labor Union, Vice President Zhao Tianxing, and FPCL chief accountant Lai Shuiming, as well as 102 employee representatives from all units of the company attended the meeting.

The meeting was officially opened in Chinese National Anthem.

At the meeting, Gu Yuefeng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, delivered a speech. He required that, first, we should unite employees' mindset and actions to the company's work deployment. We should clearly share the current situation and work deployment of the company to every employee, guide the employees to improve their political awareness, unite their mindset, and concentrate on breaking through bottlenecks and overcoming difficulties, so as to ensure the completion of annual profit target on schedule.

Second, we should overcome difficulties and strive to accomplish the key targets and tasks of the whole year. Focus on the improvement of economic benefits, ensure safe and stable operation of the units, focus on the Top 10 tasks of the company in 2020, strengthen daily optimization and profit, implement the measures of production and operation optimization and profitability improvement, and ensure the realization of annual targets. In order to improve intrinsic safety and environmental protection, we should adhere to the principle of "identifying major risks, removing major hazards and preventing major incidents", highlight issue orientation, work hard on weaknesses, strengthen the source control, risk prevention and control, responsibility fulfillment and emergency system construction, drive the modernization of safety and environmental management system and capability, and realize the overall improvement of intrinsic safety and environmental protection. Strengthen the development of the employee workforce, focusing on the technical study and capability improvement. Third, the new achievements of the Party building work should lead and secure the victory of all-round and sustainable development. In his speech, President Joost Emmen commented that from the start of this year, affected by the pandemic, the economy downward pressure was great. The meeting also reported the work of the employees health, labor protection, and identification and rectification of major hazards in 2019; reviewed and approved the Collective Contract, Collective Salary Contract, Special Collective Contract for the Protection of Special Rights and Interests of Female Employees, Social Insurance Management Measures, and Management Guidelines for Housing Accumulation Fund of the company; reviewed the Management Procedures for Off-Post Recuperation and the Reporting and Processing Procedure of Violations of Rules and Disciplines and the appendix Consequence Management - Behavior Management Examples.

On behalf of the company and employees of the company respectively, President Joost Emmen and Yang Hongbin, Chairman of the Labor Union of the company, signed the Collective Contract, Collective Salary Contract and Special Collective Contract for the Protection of Special Rights and Interests of Female Employees.
