The sun was burning in hot summer. Heat wave swept through Quanzhou, and continued to usher in high temperature and hot weather. The continuously rising high temperature had a great impact on our work, but the employees working at production front line adhered to their posts as always, working hard to ensure the stable production and operation of the company.

On the morning of July 23, Gu Yuefeng, Chairman of the Board of Directors and secretary of the Party Committee of the company, and Yang Hongbin, deputy secretary of the company Party Committee, secretary of the company Commission for Discipline Inspection and Chairman of the company Labor Union, each led a group to visit the employees at the production front line who working hard in the high temperature, and expressed their respect.

Gu Yuefeng and his group visited Product Quality Center, Mechanical Department, Offsites BT central control room, CCR1, Fire Brigade and EOEG Business Team. They distributed several box of drinks to the employees on duty, shook hands with everyone, and thanked the employees for their hard work and contribution to the safe and stable production in the hot weather.

Gu Yuefeng said that in the heat of midsummer, Quanzhou suffered continuous high temperature, which brought great impact on work and life of the employees. However, braving the heat, the employees stood fast and remained at their posts, and conscientiously carried out rounds inspection, production operation, removed hazards and maintained equipment to ensure safety and stability of the units. The company expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone for their hard work, and hoped that the employees to continue to maintain good working performance, implement safety responsibility, ensure smooth production in summer, and contribute to the high-quality development of the company in the new era.

At the site of electrical operation monitoring center, polyolefin field operator room, olefin field operator room, new central control room, engineer building and Terminal central control room, Yang Hongbin expressed thanks to the front-line employees working hard under high temperature, distributed drinks, and told them to well balance their work and rest, pay attention to safety while ensuring good production in hot weather, and work against heatstroke.

Yang Hongbin sincerely thanked everyone for their hard work and hoped that all units, while esnuring safe and stable operation and maintenance, pay attention to the balance of work and rest, implement heat prevention and cooling measures, create a good working environment, ensure personal health and safe operation in hot weather. Relevant functional departments should provide good logistics support to the safe and stable production of the units.

Facing the severe test of high temperature, front-line employees adhered to their jobs and contributed to the development of the company with full enthusiasm as always. At each stop, the company management inquired about the production, people and safety protection measures in detail, cared about employees’ life, work and rest, time arrangement, etc., and required business teams and construction contractor to work on heatstroke prevention and cooling, scientifically and reasonably arrange working time and rest, work in the morning and late afternoon as far as possible to avoid the hottest time, and provide heatstroke prevention drugs and cooling supplies on site.

The company management required all departments and Business Teams to attach great importance to production safety in summer, so as to ensure the smooth and safe advancement of all work in summer. They required that, affected by the pandemic, currently the economic downward pressure was big, the company's business situation was not optimistic, and the current task was arduous. We should adhere to the company's annual targets, work on the continuous challenges, pay close attention to units production safety as always, work hard and take measures on innovation and profitability, so as to ensure the smooth completion of the annual targets and tasks.
