On the morning of July 17, the company held Control Integrity Management System (CIMS) assessment training in both Quanzhou and Quangang offices through video conference.

Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Vice President of the company and the system assessment group lead, attended the training and delivered a speech. He said that control was the responsibility of every employee in the company. Through training, we could understand the situation of Control Integrity Management System and the following assessment process, so as to prepare for the next step of field assessment.

With the support of the company management, Control Integrity Management System was put into trial operation in July 2019 and officially put into operation in February 2020. This was the first assessment of CIMS carried out by the company, and the purpose was to ensure the effectiveness of CIMS, timely discover and identify gaps and improvement items of the system, and continuously improve the overall control environment of the company.

The training was one of the key steps in the system assessment plan. The training was specially scheduled one month before the field assessment, so as to leave enough time for each assessment team to understand and get familiar with the system documents, hold pre-assessment meeting, and formulate the detailed plan, so as to lay a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the system assessment.
