On May 19, the inspection group led by Li Tianbi, the safety director of Ministry of Transport, visited Liyuwei Terminal of the company to inspect the port safety production. Joost Emmen, president of the company, and vice president Zhao Tianxing accompanied and participated in the inspection.

Joost Emmen and Zhao Tianxing introduced the general situation of the company and the Terminal, and reported the company's work on COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, production safety management etc.

The inspection group visited Liyuwei Terminal to inspect safety production. They commented on the importance of safety production, and stressed that safety production, safety education and other work should be carried out in strict accordance with relevant rules and regulations, thus to ensure the fulfillment of safety production responsibility.

The inspection group commented that, in accordance with relevant requirements to prevent and remove major risks in safety production, we should strictly implement safety risk prevention and control measures in public areas such as tank farms and pipe racks during production at terminals and ports, regularly inspect and evaluate hazardous storage tanks, and carry out identification focusing on violations of inflammable, explosive and highly toxic hazardous goods loading, unloading and storing operations, as well as the acts of front-line personnel that violating regulations.

It was required by the inspection group to further strengthen the dual preventive measures on risk prevention/ control and potential hazard identification/ rectification, and effectively manage and control major risks; continue to make steady improvement in front-line, basics and fundamental skills, establish and improve the long-term mechanism of safety production; take targeted measures to carry out safety production work in a solid and detailed way; strengthen the communication and cooperation with the transportation (port) and maritime authorities to form a resultant force of supervision; make more efforts on flood and typhoon control, and implement anti-terrorism and fire fighting work, thus to ensure safety and stability of the industry.
