On the afternoon of June 16, Liang Binghui, Secretary of the CPC Quangang District Committee, visited the company for research. Company President Joost Emmen and Vice President Nouraddin A. Yousuf met with Liang Binghui and his delegation, and both sides exchanged views on the coordination between the company and the local government.

Joost Emmen thanked the CPC Quangang District Committee and Quangang District Government for their support and assistance to the company. He said that the development of FREP had received strong support from the local government, especially during the Covid-19 epidemic period, the government had made great efforts to help the company prevent and control the epidemic and stabilize production, thus providing a solid guarantee for normal production and operation of the company.

Joost Emmen said that although the current market situation is severe and the company’s operation situation was not optimistic, FREP took root in Quangang and actively promoted the smooth progress of relevant projects to boost local economic development with practical actions. He hoped that more downstream enterprises would settle in Quangang and further extend the industrial chain to make the local economy bigger and stronger.

Joost Emmen hoped that the company and the local government strengthen communication, enhance mutual trust, solve the current difficulties together, and strive to achieve positive interaction and win-win development between the company and the local government.

Liang Binghui thanked FREP for the contributions to the development of Quangang. He said that during the Covid-19 epidemic period, FREP, under the leadership of OOP, overcame difficulties, stabilized the workforce, preserved the strength and achieved impressive results. The difficulties were only temporary, and would be overcame as long as we unite in a concerted effort.

Liang Binghui said that FREP was a pillar enterprise in Quangang District and had a decisive influence on local economic development. The CPC Quangang District Committee and District Government would, as always, fully support the development of FREP, and will create a good investment environment, actively promote the landing of the project, and promote quality and profitability improvement as well as development and growth of the company.

At the meeting, the company and the local government communicated and coordinated on the topics such as project construction, master plan and co-building of the company and the local government. (Zhang Lei)
