According to the “Production Safety Month” arrangement, on the morning of June 24, company President Joost Emmen gave a safety lecture themed with “Layers of Protection to Defend Red Line in Production Safety” in Technology Hall of Quangang Office Building, which was closely related to daily production work and combined with the actual situation of the company’s front-line production safety work. More than 150 employee representatives from various units of the company attended the training.

Joost Emmen commented that there were many potential hazards in our working environment that might lead to safety incidents and any small deviation might lead to a major incident. To ensure production safety, we should implement high-quality protection at all layers from design, maintenance, training, operating procedures, standard implementation and PPE wearing, conscientiously carry out hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual rounds inspection and special care. Each department, business team and employee of the company should ensure that every layer of protection is implemented well without compromise.

Joost Emmen demanded that all employees should stick to the insurmountable red line awareness of “development must not be at the sacrifice of safety”, and protecting the personal safety of people is always the top priority of the company.

Joost Emmen emphasized that every employee played a very important role in the production safety of company. Every employee of the company should truly understand the potential hazards and risks, understand how to control potential hazards through protective barriers, and understand the responsibilities in implementing protective barriers. Only by internalizing, could we carry out various inspections more strictly, implement rectification more effectively, and share and learn more actively. We should realize the closed-loop management and continuous improvement through the cycle of four actions including understanding, inspection, rectification and learning, continuously improve equipment, facilities, procedures and behaviors, ensure production safety, prevent occurrence of incidents, and truly protect ourselves and others.
