On June 16, Jiang Yongqing, Vice Chairman of Quanzhou Federation of Labor Unions, visited the company for research of Quanzhou industrial workers’ skills training bases. Jiang Yongqing commented that the importance of improving the skills of industrial workers should be fully recognized, that improving the skills of industrial workers should be taken as an important starting point for the reform of the team building of industrial workers, and that improving the skills of industrial workers should be taken as a necessary way for workers to realize their personal values; the effectiveness of industrial workers’ skills improvement work should be further enhanced, the skills training should be highlighted, the incentive platform should be established; everyone should fulfill his/ her responsibilities, all units should strengthen organization and leadership, the enterprise should implement the main responsibility, Labor Union should play a boosting role, the training base should implement the task, so as to truly implement the incentive policy for improving industrial workers’ skills.

Jiang Yongqing and his delegation also visited the employee skills training base, understood and inquired about the construction process, daily management, use effectiveness and other aspects of the training base in detail, and had a working exchange with trainers on site. He spoke highly of the company’s emphasis on employee training, the overall integration of training resources, the full play of the effectiveness of the training base, and the company’s efforts in post competence training for skilled personnel in fitter/ electrical/ instrument training competition.

It was reported that in order to thoroughly implement the “talent harbor plan” of the CPC Quanzhou Municipal Committee and Quanzhou Municipal People’s Government, vigorously carry forward the spirit of craftsmen, promote the team building of high-skilled talents in Quanzhou, and provide intellectual support and talent support for the construction of “The Five of Quanzhou”, the Quanzhou Federation of Labor Unions had implemented the construction of Quanzhou industrial workers’ skills training bases, and would construct 30 industrial workers’ skills training bases in three years in the industries such as mechanical intelligent manufacturing, integrated electronic circuits, textile/ clothing/ footwear, new petrochemical materials, ceramic and carving arts, etc., with the focus on supporting the construction of 10 industrial workers’ skills training demonstration bases. As one of Quanzhou industrial workers’ skills training bases, the company’s employee skills training base mainly focuses on the new petrochemical materials industry and will receive financial support and support in personnel treatment.
