The Global Senior Vice President of ExxonMobil Fuels & Lubricants Company Made a “Virtual” Visit to the Company


On the morning of June 30th, Dave Brownell, Global Senior Vice President, Ian Carr, Senior Vice President of the shareholder ExxonMobil, and the Asia-Pacific senior management of ExxonMobil Fuels & lubricants Company made a “virtual” visit to FREP by video conference. President Joost Emmen and Vice President Zhao Tianxing attended the meeting in the conference room on the 15th floor of Fulian Building.

The company management made a report on the performance review, the progress of safety culture promotion plan and the progress of the Master Plan from January to May 2020, and had communication of relevant contents.

Mr. Dave Brownell fully recognized the quick response and timely deployment of the joint venture in response to the severe market situation brought about by the epidemic, he hoped that the company management would effectively seize the opportunity to reduce costs and improve profitability, and strengthen the effectiveness of safety improvement through a series of measures. With the release of production capacity of large petrochemical enterprises in neighboring countries and in China, the competition in the industry would become increasingly fierce, he hoped that the joint venture would continue to promote safety and reliability performance, improve profitability, and further enhance the technology selection and portfolio optimization of the projects in Master Plan, so as to ensure the smooth progressing of competitive projects.
