On May 27, a research group led by Zhang Canmin, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Director of Fujian Development and Reform Commission, visited the company for research. Zhan Chenhui, Deputy Director of Fujian Development and Reform Commission, Lv Gang, Deputy Mayor of Quanzhou City, Joost Emmen, president of the company, Lin Xu and Zhao Tianxing, vice presidents of the company accompanied the research.

First, Joost Emmen welcomed Zhang Canmin and the group to FREP for research. He briefly introduced the general situation of the company and thanked Fujian Development and Reform Commission for its strong support and help to the construction and development of FREP.

Zhang Canmin and the group visited the exhibition hall of the company. While learning about the general situation of the company, Zhang Canmin also inquired about the production process, process technology and technical performance of products, and held a discussion meeting.

Lin Xu made a report on the 1.2 MTA Steam Cracker and downstream derivatives project in the company master plan.

After the introduction, Zhang Canmin fully affirmed FREP's work in accelerating the construction and development for expansion of Steam Cracker and extension of the industrial chain, especially appreciated the project planning, process flow, market survey and driving the development of downstream industries. He commented that Fujian Development and Reform Commission would give full support to the project construction, and facilitate the early construction and return of the project.

Zhang Canmin hoped that FREP would give full play to its advantages, strengthen technical innovation, expand the scale and improve quality, continuously enhance the market competitiveness of products, realize high-quality development of the company in the new era, and make contributions to the economy development of Fujian Province.

Zhang Canmin and the group also visited Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park for research.
