On April 2, FREP and Quangang District held a local government-enterprise joint meeting.

Leaders of the company, Joost Emmen, Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Lin Xu and Zhao Tianxing, Yan Zhaohui, Director of Quangang District, Liu Minjian, director of Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park, attended the meeting to discuss affairs of local government and enterprise coordination.

President Joost Emmen thanked Quangang District government for its long-term support to the company. He said that especially during the pandemic prevention and control period, Quangang District government made precise deployment and strict prevention and control, and pushed the resumption of work and production in a comprehensive and orderly manner on the premise of ensuring the safety of people's lives, which created favorable conditions for the company's production and operation. In order to learn the experience and lessons from the "3.7" Quanzhou Xinjia Hotel collapse incident, the company fully cooperated with the government to carry out an overall inspection of housing safety hazards, and relevant work is being advanced in an orderly manner.

Joost Emmen said that FREP always attached importance to the communication with the local government and maintains close cooperation. In the past, we had achieved good achievement together. Looking into the future, FREP has exciting new projects planned and implemented to create a better future for Quangang.

Yan Zhaohui thanked FREP for its contribution to the development of Quangang over the years. He said that as the leading enterprise in Quangang District, FREP actively cooperated with the government in pandemic prevention and control, the resumption of work and production, safety and other work, and made a major contribution for the fiscal good start of the first quarter of Quangang District. 

Yan Zhaohui said that the district government would continue to follow the established route of the local government and the company, optimize services, and make joint efforts toward the common goal. For issues requiring coordination of both parties, we should adhere to list management and cooperate closely to establish a working mechanism of "weekly coordination and monthly scheduling".

At the meeting, the two sides followed up on the implementation of the meeting minutes of the last joint meeting, and communicated, coordinated and aligned with each other on such topics as pandemic prevention and control, production safety, master plan, and local government-enterprise joint construction.
