In the morning of March 20, led by Wu Hanzong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Quanzhou Municipal People's Congress, a delegation team visited the company to research the pandemic prevention and control and the situation of work and production resumption.

Wu Hanzong conveyed the spirit of Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Quanzhou Municipal Government on pandemic prevention and control. He said that COVID-19 pandemic was spreading rapidly worldwide, and the pandemic prevention and control entered a new stage. The company should take active actions to comprehensively drive forward the pandemic prevention and control, and the resumption of work and production at the same time. Take different measures to minimize the impact of the pandemic on production and management while preventing import COVID-19 cases, and contribute to local economic development.

He pointed out that the pandemic revealed the vulnerables of the petrochemical industry chain in Quanzhou. As a large-scale petrochemical joint venture, FREP is expected to adhere to high-quality development, fully utilize its production capacity as a development target, close the gaps in the regional industry, further extend to the downstream of the petrochemical industry chain, produce new and more high value-added products.
