On April 17, the company held the wrap-up meeting on the theme education of “Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind”, comprehensively summarized the company’s theme education and made deployment requirements for consolidating and deepening the achievements of theme education.

Yuefeng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors and the lead of the theme education leading group, made a summary report. Liu Xiangdong, General Manager, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and deputy lead of the theme education leading group, presided over the meeting and put forward requirements.

Gu Yuefeng commented that since the theme education was launched, the company’s Party building work, safety and environmental protection, production and operation, reform and development had continuously improved, and the spiritual outlook of the Party members and cadres had taken on a new look, which consolidated the ideological and political foundation for promoting the company’s high-quality development in the new era. Gu Yuefeng required that we should conscientiously study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, the arrangements of Sinopec Group’s Leading Party Members’ Group and the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, continue to deepen and expand the achievements of theme education, and stick to our original aspiration and always undertake the mission in achieving high-quality development. Liu Xiangdong required that we should strengthen theoretical study and thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fulfill the mission with responsibility, interpret the original aspiration with responsibility, continuously consolidate and deepen the achievements of the theme education of “Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind”, explore the establishment of a long-term mechanism of theme education, promote “Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind” as an eternal topic of strengthening the Party’s construction and the lifelong task of Party members and cadres and constantly make unremitting efforts, and effectively transform the enthusiasm of loving the Party, the country and the enterprise stimulated by theme education into practical actions of doing post work well, and into practical results in overcoming difficulties and accomplishing various tasks. We should make overall planning and properly work on epidemic prevention and control, production and operation, project construction and other key work, and continue to promote the transformation of Party building’s political and organizational advantages into development advantages. We should practice and verify the original aspiration and the mission in the action of meeting the “100-Day Challenges” so as to lay a good foundation and inject impetus into the completion of the annual targets and tasks.
