On April 17, the company held 2020 work conference on building good conduct and political integrity and fighting corruption.

Gu Yuefeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, attended the conference. Liu Xiangdong, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the company, presided over the conference and read out the commendation decision. Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the company, made a work report entitled “Improving and Perfecting the Supervision System, Striving to Build a First-class Political Ecology, and Providing Strong Guarantee for the Company’s High-Quality Development to a New Level in the New Era”. Members of the Party Committee, leadership team members and members of Commission for Discipline Inspection of the company attended the conference.

At the conference, Liu Xiangdong put forward three requirements. The first is to always put the Party’s political construction in the first place, continuously enhance the consciousness of “two maintenances”, unite the ideological consensus of “sticking to the strict keynote for a long time”, carry the responsibility of building good conduct and political integrity on our shoulders, grasp it in our hands and put it into action, highlight the focus of our work, break through the difficulties of our work, and constantly create the gorgeous petrochemical “business card” of honesty and integrity.

The second is to strengthen our responsibilities and fulfill our duties, have the requirement of full and strict governance over the Party run through the whole process of promoting the integration and mutual promotion of Party building and production and operation, implement high standards and strict requirements in our daily education, management and supervision work, and promote the full and strict governance over the Party to continuously achieve new results and advance to a new level of work style construction.

The third is to deepen the treatment of both the symptoms and root causes, make continuous efforts to promote the establishment of a mechanism that prevents corruption, strengthen the work style construction strictly and practically, and resolutely rectify the “four styles” so as to better safeguard the company’s high-quality development in the new era with a good political ecology.

Yang Hongbin reviewed the company’s work on building good conduct and political integrity and fighting corruption and achievements in 2019. And he deployed six key tasks in 2020. The first is to continue to deepen political supervision and focus on implementing various decisions and arrangements; the second is to continue to deepen special rectification and focus on solving the outstanding problems that the masses have strongly reflected; the third is to continue to deepen the rectification of “four styles” and strive to consolidate and expand new achievements in style construction; the fourth is to continue to deepen the construction of the “three noes to corruption” mechanism and strive to improve the efficiency of corruption control; the fifth is to continue to deepen the construction of the supervision system and focus on strengthening the supervision and restriction of power operation; and the sixth is to continue to deepen the team building and strive to forge a loyal, clean and responsible supervision team.

The conference was held in the form of video conference, Secretaries of Party general branches and Party branches at the grass-roots level, main responsible persons of all departments and grass-roots teams and full/ part-time discipline inspectors attended the conference. (Xuan Wen)
