In the afternoon of March 10^th, Company Labor Union organized a series of fun games at Quanzhou Straits Stadium in celebration of the International Women’s Day. About 300 female members of the grassroots Labor Unions, representatives of female employees and persons in charge of the grassroots Labor Unions participated the games.

These fun games took in several forms such as relay race. Both the participants and audience had fun in the games. Female employees from different departments and groups teamed up in 22 teams and showed their style.

As soon as the judge blew the whistle, participants put their hands on each other’s shoulders while shouting “one, two, one, two…” They were trying their best to synchronize the movements of their waists and legs and pulling together towards the finish line. The audience really enjoyed watching the games, and had fun from both the cooperation and mistakes of each team. In particular the game named “ants crossing the river” where participants, hand in hand, walked with great caution on very narrow square mats, and once one person lost balance the entire team reeled left and right, thus slowing the movement of the team. The game was so much fun and the scene turned to be a big party where some were cheering the teams, some were stamping their feet and some were even dancing around. The female employees celebrated their own holiday in joy. 

One participant told the reporter that she seldom participated in such games before and she felt extremely excited to be part of the game in this time, not to mention her team won a prize. It seems that teaming up with her colleagues in the game has made them become more bonded. She wished she could be in such games more often in the future.

Through intense competition, the fire-fighting and security team on behalf of HSE Dept., maintenance team on behalf of Mechanical Dept. and the joint team on behalf of Finance Dept. and Audit Office won the first, second and third prize. These activities fully demonstrate that female employees are having a healthy and upbeat spirit. It not only enhanced the teamwork spirit but also increased exchange/ communication among departments and groups.

Company Party Secretary Mr. Chen Xiaobo, who was also in the scene, presented awards to the winners of pacesetter job positions taken by female workers, female pacesetters and civilized & harmonious families for the year 2016.

It is reported that in celebration of the International Women’s Day, Company Labor Union organized a series of activities in an effort to make a harmonious, joyful and unforgettable holiday for all female employees. These activities have not only enabled people to bond and promote friendship, but also refreshed people’s mind and body, and further inspired and encouraged female employees to continue demonstrating the spirit of being self-esteemed, confident, self-reliant and self-improvement, and to devote themselves in their work with great passion and make new contributions to the growth of the Company.
