Company Labor Union Held Women’s Day Awarding Forum
In the morning of March 8th, the Company Labor Union organized an awarding forum in celebration of the International Women’s Day and in recognition of female employees’ contribution to the Company. The forum was held at Furui Hotel and Mr. Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of Company Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Committee and Chairman of Labor Union, presented the forum. Nearly 40 female employees’ representatives from different departments and groups, as well as those who are awarded joyfully gathered to celebrate the holiday.
The forum awarded the pacesetter job positions taken by female employees, female pacesetters and civilized & harmonious families in 2016. Four positions including console operator position at Olefin Business Team in Process Dept., oil analyzer position at Product Quality Center in T&P Dept., calibration position at instruments group in Mechanical Dept. engineering /technical service procurement positions in S&D Dept. were honored as pacesetter job positions taken by female employees; six female employees including Xiao Hui, Wang Xiangping, Shi Yuehua, Zhang Chunyan, Jin Yan and Li Yuhua were honored as female pacesetters, and families of Deng Lin, Di Weixia, Shen Xiaoli, Pang Yuan and Yue Caicai were named as civilized & harmonious families.
Deputy Party Secretary Mr. Yang Hongbin extended his holiday greetings to all female employees. He hoped that firstly all female employees could be just as excellent as their male colleagues and hold up half the sky; secondly inherit the virtues of the Chinese nation by advocating ethics and doing the good; thirdly, be careful and prudent both at work and in home, play a bridging role and contribute to the Company development.
The awarding ceremony proceeded in a warm atmosphere, and the representatives of female employees exchanged ideas. Female pacesetters including Xiao Hui, Jin Yan and Zhang Chunyan delivered speeches and shared their work experiences. The attendees commented that they would take every opportunity to learn and grow, and apply what they’ve learned in real jobs and demonstrate they are in no way inferior to men; they would also take a long-term perspective and tie their personal growth with the Company’s development by making unremitting self-improvement and working hard to become a work model.
