A delegation led by the Chairman Mr. Wu Yigui and General Manager Mr. Xie Ronghui of Taiwan Xuteng Investment Co., Ltd. paid a visit to FREP on the morning of February 15^th. They were accompanied by FREP Chairman & President Mr. Gu Yuefeng, FPCL Deputy  General Manager and General Manager of Gulei RCI Project Mr. Li Xiangdong, and FPCL Deputy General Manager and Deputy General Manager of Gulei RCI Project Mr. Chen Feishan.

Accompanied by President Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Mr. Wu Yigui visited FREP exhibition room, CCR2 of new plant and the production site with great interest. The two parties also communicated on some topics they are interested during the site tour.

On behalf of FREP, President Mr. Gu Yuefeng extended warm welcome to the delegation, leading by Mr. Wu Yigui from Taiwan Xuteng Company, and introduced the general situation about the production and operation of FREP. He said that FREP is making full efforts in promoting transformation of development mode, adjustment of structure and improvement of quality and profit. In the meantime, FREP hopes to have a deep communication with Taiwan’s petrochemical companies so as to learn from each other and improve management together. FREP looks forward to hold hands with Taiwan Xuteng Company in further deepening cooperation and making contribution to the development of petrochemical companies on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and the economy development of the country.

Mr. Wu Yigui commented that FREP is a refining and chemical integrated enterprise jointly invested by Sinopec, EMCP&P and SAAC, who has advanced management practices and concepts from both foreign and Chinese shareholders, and achieves outstanding performance in safety, reliability and people management that are well recognized by the industry professionals. Particularly, he expressed admiration to what he saw in CCR that FREP takes initiatives to benchmark operational/ technical indexes with those of the leading companies in Sinopec system for improving enterprise management although as a joint venture, as well as the performance of ethylene output exceeded 100kt in January 2017. He commented that the visit further increase his confidence on the Gulei RCI project, and hoped that the two companies would have more communication and cooperation for common progress.
