In the morning of January 25th, the delegation of Quanzhou Mayor Mr. Kang Tao visited FREP for Chinese New Year’s greeting. FREP chairman and President Mr. Gu Yuefeng and Quanzhou District Director Mr. Yan Zhaohui accompanied the visit.

At the central control room, upon learning that many employees gave up the family reunion and carried on with the job, Mayor Kang Tao offered the best wishes to FREP employees who were staying with the production at the frontline on behalf of Quanzhou CCP Party Committee and Quanzhou Municipal Government and also recognized and congratulated FREP for the excellent performance in last year despite the challenging situation. Mr. Kang Tao commented that petrochemical industry is a crucial pillar industry for Quanzhou, and FREP is the benchmark player for Quanzhou petrochemical industry cluster to offer critical support for Quanzhou economic growth and industry structure adjustment, he hoped in the new year FREP would maintain steady development momentum and make more contribution to local economy development. He demanded that during the holiday FREP scientifically dispatch the resources and closely focus on critical links, and step up identification and rectification of potential hazards and make sure stable and safe production.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng, on behalf of FREP OOP, expressed gratitude for the visit and greeting from Quanzhou Municipal and Quangang District leadership group, and briefly shared with them the overall production and operation of FREP in 2016. He said FREP has been continuously strengthening HSE performance, and improving delicacy management while ensuring safety and stable operation, in 2016 FREP set historical record in profitability and made contribution to economic growth of Quanzhou. He stated that FREP is strictly complying with the new Production Safety Law and the Environmental Protection Law, and is promoting gasoline quality upgrading, developing based on Quanzhou and caring for Quanzhou development, actively exercising social responsibilities, and is committed to becoming an “outstanding corporate citizen” and a “good neighbor” of the community, and will strive to benefit Quanzhou and give back to the society.
