In early September, FREP sponsored two phases of executive theoretical study class and party committee secretary training session 2016 at Xiamen Party School to implement the spirit of party buildup meeting by Sinopec Group and deepen the education for “Two Studies and One Action”. There were over 120 participants covering the FREP management, intermediate management staffs, management of the restructured entity and the secretaries from general party committee and branch committees.   

The training invited Professors Sun Jianhang and Song Fufan from Central Party School, deputy dean of Xiamen Party School Peng Xin’an, Dr. Wang Gang, and director Feng Zhenzhong from general office of SASAC, State Council to deliver lectures, with excellent video lectures by two experts from Central Party School in the middle. The lecture was of rich content and including the study and coaching on “Party Constitution”, “Rules”, “Protocol” and spirit of serial speeches by general secretary Xi Jinping, meanwhile the courses in “new changes in international situation and strategic coping by China”, “development idea and development path for 13^th five year planning”, “situation of central enterprises confidentiality operation and protection of trade secret”, “current production safety situation and management requirements”. The schedule was tight for the training, there were courses delivered in the evening and on Saturday.

During the training, five class delegates were assigned for trainee management and service, and to be in charge of the implementation and coordination/organization for classes as well as the class opening introduction and class summary; the trainees observed the training discipline, and implemented the “eight rules” by central government, and complied with the schedule, listened to the lectures seriously, the class discipline had been very good and they were acknowledged by the lecturers. 

FREP regularly organizes the executives at different levels for central study to help the executives and party secretaries to reserve knowledge and boost their stamina as “gas stations”, which is also the specific move for FREP to deepen the education of “Two Studies and One Action”. The executives gather to study and be trained at the party school can slow down the pace, relieve from stress, and fine-tune the body and mind. They come back to the posts and will instill what they have learned and thought and gained in the training into the job, and boost the idea of “working for Party in the economic sector” and made new contribution for process operation and reform/growth of FREP. 

It’s known that FREP management and party committee are paying high attention on training of executives, before sponsoring the training session, party committee listened to the report for training courses, and raised specific requirements. The Organization Department and office of party committee and union did lots of early works, and carefully designed the training agenda, and devoted considerable effort in course arrangement, and successfully completed the preparations such as invitation for lecturers, venue booking and trainee selection.

After closing of training session, FREP arranged the special party class for “Two Studies and One Action” education, and organized the trainees in two phases of training to discuss on the training scope in the theoretical study by groups to promote the utilization and conversion of training to combine the theoretical advices into job practice.
