On August 19th, a farewell meeting was held for Mr. Parut Chatikavanij and Mr. Hu Hongye who are going to leave the company at the meeting room of Furui Hotel. The meeting was attended by company leaders Gu Yuefeng, Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Joost Emmen, Liu Yanchang and etc., including Mr. Parut Chatikavanij and Mr. Hu Hongye themselves.
The meeting was presided by Mr. Gu Yuefeng, the chairman of the board and president of the company, in a simple yet solemn style.
In Mr. Gu’s address to the meeting, he said, “Here we are gathered today to bid farewell to Mr. Parut Chatikavanij and Mr. Hu Hongye who are going to leave the company. At this moment, I feel like everyone else that I’m so reluctant to see them leaving, but at the same time, I really feel happy to see they are going to start a new work and life. Thanks for their contribution to FREP.”
Then he recalled the time when working with Mr. Parut Chatikavanij and Mr. Hu Hongye, saying that Mr. Parut is a not only a witness but also a contributor of the construction and development of FREP, during which he has developed a deep friendship with us. Inspired by his sincere cooperation, we’ve enjoyed a good time working together. It’s the mutual understanding and support and consensus that bring FREP to success. While, Mr. Hu, as the head of PMG, is a major contributor of SCDB project and the overhaul of old plant in 2015, which promoted the company’s fast development. We will never forget them. They are FREP’s friends forever. Thanks for their constant support, help and contribution for the company.
Vice presidents Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Joost Emmen said, “We wish Mr. Parut and Mr. Hu good luck in their new work and happiness for their families. Also, we look forward to their continuous care and support for FREP, we’d like to see they come back as guests at any time. They’re always welcome at FREP!”
Mr. Parut delivered a speech later on. He said, “It was 1998 when I first knew about FREP. I have been paying attention to the company since then and had just managed to work at FREP till March 2014 after a couple of applications. Another reason that brings me here is that I want to pay a visit to Zhangzhou where my ancestors had lived. Until now there in my office I’m still keeping a picture with Mr. Lu Dong and Mr. Chen Xiaobo who was in a visit to a Thailand refinery with a management team. I feel I have sort of connections with my coworkers here. I’ve enjoyed every day working and living here. I will surely pay continuous attention to FREP. Thanks to all my coworkers at FREP who have become a part of my wonderful memories. Our friendship and common experience will remain indelible in my mind.”
Thinking of leaving FREP where he has worked for more than nine years, Mr. Hu said emotionally, “It’s been an honor for me to work with you as a part of the family and as the witness of the company from its start-up, construction to development. I’d like to thank the board of directors and the office of president for their great support and help, which had allowed me and PMG to make success in SCDB project and the overhaul of old plant in 2015. It’s a memorable experience that I will never forget. Although I’m leaving FREP and going back to Fujian Refinery, I will still pay attention to FREP. I’d love to help whenever FREP needs me.”
At last, Mr. Mr. Parut and Mr. Hu. received “FREP Honorable Employee” medal and a photograph album of working time from Mr. Gu and had photos taken with all other leaders at the meeting. (Xiao Wanyuan)
