The unveiling ceremony for the electrical discipline group of Zhang Zhaohong Model Workers’ Innovation Studio was held in room 212 at the office building of the mechanical department on the morning of June 29. Yang Hongbin, deputy secretary of FREP Party Committee, secretary of the discipline inspection commission and chairman of the labor union unveiled the board for the electrical discipline group of the Model Workers’ Innovation Studio and leaders of the Mechanical Department and the Office of Party Committee and Union as well as technical staffs attended the unveiling ceremony.

Yang Hongbin, deputy secretary of FREP Party Committee congratulated the Model Workers’ Innovation Studio on its establishment of the electrical discipline group, saying that establishing the electrical discipline group was required by the company construction & development and quality upgrading, it was required by FREP demand of fostering high-quality and technical know-how and even required by the electrical discipline of the Mechanical Department to build premium quality engineering, safety engineering and talent engineering. He expected that the Model Workers’ Innovation Studio could further give play to the “leading” role of the model worker and technical backbone personnel in such activities as the technological breakthrough, scientific and technological innovation and management innovation, so as to realize project development in a rolling way.

Next, Zhang Zhaohong, director of Zhang Zhaohong Model Workers’ Innovation Studio made remarks to show his position. He expressed that he would live up to the expectations of FREP leadership and the great trust of all departments, business team leaders and FREP all staffs and employees and make more contributions to FREP development by raising stricter requirements to himself, giving play to the demonstration and leading role, strictly implementing various standards and regulations and exerting the role of the model workers’ innovation studio.

Wu Weizhong, team lead of the electrical discipline group of the Model Workers’ Innovation Studio introduced the preparatory work for building of the innovation studio. 

Under instructions of Zhang Zhaohong Model Workers’ Innovation Studio, the electrical discipline group of Zhang Zhaohong Model Workers’ Innovation Studio, with Wu Weizhong as the team lead and 16 backbone technical personnel from the electrical discipline of the Mechanical Department as the team members, is aimed to solve the difficult and hot problems of production operations in combination with the characteristics of electrical discipline, so as to build the workgroup as the innovation-minded and difficulty-conquering fresh troops and develop the studio as a stage for employees to give play to their roles and demonstrate their abilities and enable the studio to become the fertile soil to foster more talents.   

By means of the innovation studio as a platform, mass employees of the electrical discipline will be attracted and gathered by the employees’ innovation activities, so that a favorable atmosphere of mass economic and technical innovations can be formed, a large batch of knowledge and technical talents who are dedicated, industrious and innovative can be fostered, the enterprise ability of independent innovations can be improved, thusly contributions can be made to FREP quality upgrading and efficiency improvement.
