On the afternoon of July 1^st, a comendation conference was held in celebration of the 95^th anniversary of founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and in recognition of winners of the campaign of being the best. Nearly 500 people attended the conference, including members of Party Committee, CPC members and active applicants of party membership from FPCL, FREP, LFG, Fuyuan, and Ruisheng.

Presided over by Gu Yuefeng, member of Party Committee, Chairman and General Manager of the company, the event saw new members of the Party were led by Chen Xiaobo, Secretary of Party Committee of the company in the admission ceremony where new members took the oath and old members were refreshed with the same.

Mr. Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee announced the names of collective and individual winners who received honors from the higher party organization, and the decision on giving honors to Advanced Basic Party Organization, Advanced Party Team, Outstanding Party members, Outstanding Staff in Party Affairs. 15 Basic Party organizations such as Party Branch of Aromatics Business Team of Process Department were given the title of Advanced Party Branch (General Branch), 13 Party Team such as the Third Party Team of the Party Branch of Fuels-1 Business Team of Process Department were given the title of Advanced Party Team. 87 Party members and 19 staff in Party Affairs were honored respectively. 

In the conference Mr. Chen Xiaobo gave a lecture titled "Learn Party constitution, rules and series of speech, strive to be an qualified party member satisfying the requirements of "Stress on and perform in 4 aspects"  .

In the lecture, Mr. Chen Xiaobo first reviewed the glorious history of CPC since its founding in 1921. He pointed out an advanced undertaking of building a new and strong China should be left in the leadership of an advanced political party, which can boost the progress of the undertaking. That history has handed over the heavy burden of revitalization of Chinese nation to CPC and the people have also placed their hopes on members of the Party. That CPC is the core leadership of socialist undertakings with Chinese characteristics and will play the role of leadership in guiding the people to realize the great Chinese Dream.

In conjunction with the standard of “Stress on and perform in 4 aspects” for Party members and his own understanding of the same, Mr. Chen Xiaobo elaborated on the conditions and attainment for being a competent Party member by illustrating theory and giving examples.

Mr. Chen Xiaobo stressed that the standard of “Stress on and perform in 4 aspects” is the new requirement put forward in the new situation for a qualified Party member when summarizing CPC 95 years struggle history, which is the inheritance and development of the past standard and the important security for realizing the great Chinese Dream which relies on stiff Party discipline, the “Four All-rounds” strategic arrangements, and the five development strategic guidelines.

Mr. Chen Xiaobo demanded that as a Party member in a new era, we must regulate our thinking and action, respect the Party constitution, follow the rules and regulations of the Party, adhere to “Stress on and perform in 4 aspects” so as to fulfill our tasks and honor the oath of membership, and to make more contribution to the creation and development of the company and to the harmonious, happy and new Fulian.

Finally, Mr. Gu Yuefeng called for Party committees at all levels to organize “Studies on the theoretical and practical issues of party building” and to deepen implementation of requirement on insisting leadership of the Party and enhancement of Party construction in compliance with the requirements of the Party Committee of Sinopec Group and arrangements of Party Committee of the company, with an aim of providing strongest securities to the new development of the company.
